Great location, but food is just OK

Neptune's Net is a rustic restaurant & bar that can be a fun place to stop along Hwy-1, especially at sunset. It's actually a bit of a dive, complete with porta-potties out back. It has a Malibu address, but it feels more like Nowheresville -- sitting all by itself about halfway from Malibu to... read more

Come with a lot of patience & manners; it's first come, first serve on the tables, so split up & someone get in line & someone scout for tables. The clientele is very polite; once you stake out a table that is nearly finished, no one will poach your territory as long as you are there. Fish & chips were... More

We stopped in for lunch on a weekday while on a drive up the PCH. No sign of any bikers while we were there and the place was relatively uncrowded. The view from the porch was great! Ordering was simple like any fast food place. Our food came out in 10 minutes or less. We all had fried fish, clam... More

We drove out the PCH after visiting the Getty Villa. We shared a Sampler Platter and Clam Chowder. It filled three of us. The Crab cake was loaded with crab. Calamari was good and fresh. Soup was hot and thick. Lot's a noisy bikers but that kind of added to the atmosphere. This was fun and good in a greasy,... More

Across the Pacific Coast Highway from the beach so it's s great view. Tons of motorcycle parking if you need that! On sunny weekend days it is packed so there can be a wait. The food is okay. It's more about atmosphere and location. It's a serious drive.

a great place to hang out after a ride on your motorbike or car, as well after a nice hike up at the sand stone peak behind the coast. The restaurant serves usual fried sea food as well burgers, sandwiches. In addition there is another restaurant right beside, which belongs to neptune's net, it's called sea side. This one offers... I took my family to Neptunes Net. First impression was that it was a bikers restaurant but after getting in I realized otherwise, that it wasn't. The ordering service was average, same as any fast food restaurant. We got our food after about 10 minutes. All of my food was good but my wives hamburger was undercooked. They gave her... More

I can't visit Malibu without making my way up the coast to Neptune's Net. It's one of my all time favorite spots in the world. I always have the steamed clams which are amazing, and I love the crab as well, if they have it. It's changed a bit over the years..from when you used to walk around the live... More

We wanted a casual fish restaurant close to the ocean and chose Neptune's Net despite a few mixed reviews, because of the great location on PCH. I assumed fish and chips would be a good, safe choice, The portion was a good size but instead of a nice flakey fish in a delicious batter, it was dry and dense. So... More
