We stopped by on our way from LA to Santa Barbara cruzin up the PCH. This place is worth checking out at least once. It's somewhat a biker bar / local hangout / tourist place to visit so the people watching is fun and the open large picnic table seating (about half of the seating) can stir up some interesting... We dropped in for lunch at Neptune's on a Saturday afternoon after arriving at LAX around noon. A guy on our flight recommended the place to our daughter. It is a bit of a drive up the coast from LAX on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). The traffic on the PCH was horrible because of construction and weekend traffic. However,... More

This was a quick stop on our way to Santa Barbara. The fish was very fresh and well cooked however the tables could do with a clean as could the wash rooms. We would return for the food tho...

Our favorite fresh seafood spot along the coast! We always stop here after hiking Sandstone Peak :) Not only is the food fast and delicious, the view is unbeatable, especially at sunset. Check out our post on the hike and on Neptune's - enjoy! http://mrandmrsadventure.com/2014/06/19/our-favorite-socal-hike-sandstone-peak/

I have been coming here for over 30 years and when it was an ugly shack, it had great clam chowder that tasted of cream and a bit of cayanne spice, now it is floured down and common and thick, Since they made the building all pretty and the parking lot paved it has taken a nose dive in other... had not been to this destination restaurant in years. Went here over the Memorial Day weekend. Weather was beautiful. PCH abuzz with bikers and surfers, and the Net was mobbed, even more so than I remembered. Nothing else had changed--seafood, especially crabs, lobster and shrimp were still steamed to order and tasted great. The line to order was still long,... More

There's nowhere else worth eating for a good few miles so I was glad we found this old place as the food and beer looked decent. It's rough and ready, but has charm and a fun atmosphere. The food was very quick, fresh, piping hot and great fried calamari and shrimp. They had a great choice of cold beers, just... More

Good location in Malibu. The food was delicious even though it was all fried. We had the sampler seafood plate to share between the two of us and couldn't even begin to finish it. Never eat fried food but thought what they heck! Glad we did since it was so good. Fun atmosphere with lots of bikers (wearing Rolexes) LOL... More

Good food, great location and a great place to people watch. It's always busy but they get your food out to you pretty quick.
