Good food for Beach Goers

The location is perfect. The views are wonderful. Usually when restaurants give lots of food, its lots of food and not good food, not the case with our lunch. Our lunch was terrific. We ordered nachos for an app with Bloody Mary's and a Real Coconut. We were more than satisfied with the nachos... read more

Nice seafood and fantastic location but unfortunately we were rushed out of our seats to fit a larger croud in that were hanging around our table waiting for us to finish so they could have our table which was next to there friends.

If you're a fan of the old TV show The Rockford Files you have to stop here--The parking lot of the restaurant is where Rockford kept his trailer. The trailer is long gone, but there's plaque showing where it was. The restaurant is a great place to grab a bite to eat. We stopped for lunch on a drive up... More

Stopped to check out the area. Nice beach good views, cool area. Had drinks and apps. at the Café. Good Margaritas, not the coldest of beers, had to ask for glass of ice to cool down beer. Apps were pretty good. Would go again, maybe on a warmer day. Validated parking was $6.00, up to 3-4 hours I think. All... More

I am always disappointed when i visit this establishment, but i keep giving it chances to improve. You can not beat the location, you can sit on the beach and enjoy food and appetizers or go inside and eat till you are stuffed. The problem is in the execution of the fare. Everything is very mediocre, and some just greasy... More

Do not go there on weekends! They charge people $20 to walk down their street! Go on a weekday. The beach is cool, the restaurant setting is cool; right on the sand. Nice for a cocktail on a Tuesday.

We both had burgers. I had the turkey burger with coleslaw (excellent) and husband had the BBQ onion burger with fries. Both were delicious and very filling. We had a great table at the window overlooking the beach. We were able to watch some of the surfers. There's beach chairs set up. Only sore spot is having to pay $6... More

We go here every time we visit the area. The portions are larger than life and sitting outside with your feet in the sand while you eat breakfast just can't be beat. You will pay a parking fee, but the trade off is a gorgeous walk on an amazing beach, so be sure to allow time for a stroll after... More

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
