Good start, we decided to go to Malibu and some dude on the street while driving suggested us to visit Malibu cove. We paid 40 dollars for parking the car but if you spend more then 30 dollars in the bar/restaurant then it's free. Sun bed 25 dollars but in weekends it costs double. Serving champagne, wine and beer and... More

This little gem is right off the Main road and a great surprise. You can seat out back on the beach while you wait for a table. They have indoor dining and outdoor dining that you can sit with your feet in the sand while you eat. They have a great drink selection and the chocolate cake is amazing! It's... More

$40 parking, $6 with validation. Good food, prompt service. A little pricey, but you're paying for location. My $18 Fish Po Boy was too much food and I'm a big guy, but it was good. The $23 salad bar wasn't that great.

Went here with friends for brunch. The location and views are fantastic. We took a lovely stroll down the pier and beach. Parking is steep at $40/day, but we had brunch there and it was discounted to $6 as I recall. The food is average and tasted good. Our server was friendly. It was an enjoyable morning at Paradise Cove.

Our group went a couple of times over a week. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was good. The location superb. Saw Dolphins and a whale one day. Could have seen them anywhere along the coast but saw them from the beach outside. The only not so good aspect was the service. Rude girl one day and... More

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great. It is on the beach with indoor and outdoor seating. The parking is $6 with a $30 minimum purchase at the restaurant. Otherwise it is $40 to park. The service was good and the food was ok but pricey. The ribs had good flavor but were very tough. The patty melt was decent... More

Visiting from Michigan, we were spending the day driving along Pacific Coast Highway to see some sights. As we passed through Malibu we decided to stop for lunch. We had never heard of this place or did any research- but BOY did we find a gem! There is a fee to park before you even get in the restaurant, but... More

I always make a point to visit this iconic restaurant while in So. Cal. For older fans, the Rockford Files was shot on location here often. Make sure you sit outside. Food is great.

There are many ways to judge a restaurant, is it the service, atmosphere, food or any of a number of things. Knowing we were in Malibu on the beach I expected crowds and they were there. With indoor and outdoor seating it was, to say the least interesting. Service was quick to take our order but the food came out... More

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
