Classic Southern California beach experience well worth the visit

Whether you live in So Cal or are visiting, there are just some times all you want to do is pull up to a beach, have a few drinks, maybe some appetizers, dinner possibly, and just take in the scene. Unfortunately that is easier said than done along the coast as the choices for dining right on the... read more

We went here on Easter Sunday for breakfast, so it was not crowded. The restaurant flows onto the beach and you can sit inside or outdoors. The crowd is eclectic and so is the place. Lots of fun decorations. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of choices. Many good ones so it was hard to chose. All of our... More

Beautiful Malibu beach restaurant. On arrival we were given a buzzer so had 10 - 20 minutes to stroll on the beach. Excellent menu, lots of choice, generous portions. Probably the best coleslaw I've ever tasted. Parking was tight so used the valet service, reasonable charge for a 4 hour stay, allowing more walking on the beach after lunch.

Absolutely gorgeous location, the inside seating is nice but their outside area is just beautiful. It's right by the beach so your tables and chairs are on the sand and you can view the ocean. We were a bit unprepared for the huge servings, made the 'mistake' to order appetizers AND an entree, either of them would have served as... More

Good start, we decided to go to Malibu and some dude on the street while driving suggested us to visit Malibu cove. We paid 40 dollars for parking the car but if you spend more then 30 dollars in the bar/restaurant then it's free. Sun bed 25 dollars but in weekends it costs double. Serving champagne, wine and beer and... More

This little gem is right off the Main road and a great surprise. You can seat out back on the beach while you wait for a table. They have indoor dining and outdoor dining that you can sit with your feet in the sand while you eat. They have a great drink selection and the chocolate cake is amazing! It's... More

$40 parking, $6 with validation. Good food, prompt service. A little pricey, but you're paying for location. My $18 Fish Po Boy was too much food and I'm a big guy, but it was good. The $23 salad bar wasn't that great.

Went here with friends for brunch. The location and views are fantastic. We took a lovely stroll down the pier and beach. Parking is steep at $40/day, but we had brunch there and it was discounted to $6 as I recall. The food is average and tasted good. Our server was friendly. It was an enjoyable morning at Paradise Cove.

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
