if you've got family and want to be on the sand, this is for you. if it's fine dining you're after, you might want to give it a miss. If you remember the old Gladstone's, you've got the idea. Don't expect to see a familiar face or great service as the college students who are charged with bringing you your... More

A lively, noisy, fun place that any tourist would not want to miss. Very busy - we had to wait over an hour and a half to get a table but while waiting we enjoyed a drink sitting on a chair in the sand on the beach. Great people watching! Food was OK and over priced, the service was very... More

This is a fun, lively place, and it's really cool that it's right on a great beach. It's the type of place that's fun to visit at least once, especially if you're on vacation. It will make for good memories. Pros: Great service for one. Also, if you like tropical cocktails, you'll love the bar. They serve watermelon daiquiris in... More

You have eat here as a tourist. There is nothing like it in So Cal. The food is fine and sitting on the sand is great. I live in Malibu though and my family refuses to dine there as it is all geared to raking in the tourist dollar and NO sense of community involvement. The last time I tried... More

This is a must go for tourists and be sure to sit outside. We had breakfast and it was wonderful with large portions. Prices are a tad bit on the high side but it's worth it to sit at a table in the sand and look at the waves coming in.

This is not fine dining, but it's fun dining. If you like the beach, and you are ready to pay the parking fees ($6.00 for 4 hours IF you purchase $30 plus from the "cafe"), this is a fun spot. Portion sizes are excessive, and fried food rules. The salad bar, at about $22.00 for unlimited plates of decent salad... More

Had my birthday lunch at Paradise Cove. Great place to come over to the coast from the hot San Fernando Valley. The "world famous" tacos are very good. We had lobster tacos and they are served with pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole , and salsa. Messy, but very good. My free dessert was a giant slice of seven layer... More

My sister lives not far from Mulholland Highway, rated one of the more dangerous highways in California with its dizzying hairpin turns for over 8 miles. We had no idea when we started down into the canyon that it would be this way. Yet it was exciting in a scary way. The road ends at the Pacific Coast Highway, not... More

We were there on 4th of July had dinner reservations for 6, the parking was full we had to park 1/2 mile away and when we arrived to the restaurant we were charged a $30 per person walk in fee. When we complained to the management we were told that the parking people are a different company and are unaffiliated... More

The first day we arrived to LA, my husband's cousin took us to Paradise Cove. We sat outside (don't bother going if you don't sit outside) with a wonderful view of the beach. Our waiter was absolutely hilarious. We received excellent service. The food was fine but the atmosphere was GREAT. We also took a walk on the beach. Very... More
