It was so good last year, we returned this year for a lovely lunch on the beach. We had a window seat so the view was wonderful of the beach and ocean. The lunch was very good. They had artichoke soup and I had never heard of it, so of course, I had to try it. It was good. The... More

The view is to die for, right on the beach with the rolling surf, dolphin sightings and an occasional whale. The service was very good, the food excellent. I had a Chinese chicken salad which was delicious, my grandson had a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and my daughter had a baby beet sandwich, both were very good.... More

Recently while on vacation in Southern CA with my wife and daughter, we discovered a great place to watch the sunset at a restaurant appropriately named "The Sunset". It sits alone on a nice broad beach in Malibu. It's open air and casual. The service was great, the fish taco's and Tuna tartar was also great and it's the kind... More

Great food, fantastic service, wonderful views and reasonable prices. Best fish tacos ! Loved this place, it's not on the main strip, nicely hidden away and will definately be back when we next visit Malibu. ( on holidays from Australia)

The location is good, but parking is difficult. Prices have increased since our last visit, but the menu selections are better

The view from this restaurant is hard to beat. If you're lucky enough to score a oceanside table at sunset, any meal would be great here. As it is the food is pretty good. We tried the fried oysters and scallop crudo appetizers, both excellent. Fish was cooked perfectly but the salads were a bit overdressed. Only complaint would be... More

Great lunch after hiking in Malibu. Lots of great food options - though I especially enjoy the fish tacos. Good wine selection. The star is the view - we almost always see dolphins and seals. Sometimes we've also seen whales.

A great place to watch the sunset. Had a late lunch there so we were able to see a wonderful sunset. It is fast setting there so be quick to grab your camera. With this being said the atmosphere was great. Food was good, a little on the expensive side.
