After an amazing day body surfing at Zuma, my sister and I stopped in at the Reel In on PCH. The parking is $3 -- valet is super friendly. You stand in line and wait to order from an impressive list of options -- fish, today's catch, shrimp, in tacos, plated, quesadillas -- cooked in one of three ways. We... More

A co-worker and I stopped at Reel Inn while in Malibu on business (tough, I know). A fellow colleague highly recommended it to us, so we swung by. After all, who doesn't like a fish taco? The place was easy to find on Coast Highway, with plenty of parking. We both ordered fish tacos, and split a shrimp quesadilla and... More

My family ordered food to go twice from this restaurant while vacationing in Topanga Canyon this month. We were on the beach and wanted to grab some food to eat on the beach. The Reel Inn was a quick walk across the street from the beach we were on. Both times we ordered over the phone. The first time, when... More

The Seafood at Rell Inn is very delicious. The place is not fancy but the atmosphere is great whatsoever. The fish is grilled and not fried like in a lot of other places. If you want to you can also eat everything with less carbs - the vegetables and the salad is great too. And, I loved the fresh oysters... More

We have been coming to the Reel Inn for years and it never disappoints. Great fresh fish and seafood served in a fun and casual atmosphere. We came to dinner straight off the beach and enjoyed the outside patio dining.

Sorry, couldn't resist the title. This is a really fun, affordable alternative to the nice but pricey restaurants along the Malibu coast. The portions are ample and tasty. My wife is not given to superlatives but declared the Crab Cakes the best she has eaten, mild with nice chunks of crab instead of the usual tiny, fine crab in many... More

When I get to the coast once or twice a year I am looking for 1) Fresh fish that is 2) properly prepared and 3) reasonably priced. You will get all 3 at the Reel Inn. I literally drove past going North on Highway 1, saw the Reel Inn, and turned around to give it a try. I am glad... More

The food is fresh and cooked ok. This is not fine dining, but it's not cheap either. The setting is rustic, sticky tables and lots of paraphernalia gathering dust. Won't hurry back.

The Reel Inn is Reel Good. The food is simple and fresh and tasty. Located right off the side off PCH, (Highway 1), the Reel Inn is a go to for fresh seafood. If the parking lot is full park across the highway at Topanga beach and use the pedestrian underpass to get back across. Don't tourist out and try... More

We drove past this little stop expecting great food based off of the reviews. The clam chowder was thick but not very tasteful. $5 for a large sized bowl. We also ordered the fish and chips, the special was red snapper for $7. The breading was very light, not crispy and fluffy like we enjoy. They were very friendly. Overall... More
