unique and purely southern California Baja style seafood

Kinda of a dive, shack type of place, open seating indoors and on the large patio. no table service, you order at the window, pay and wait for your name to be called. Tons of fresh seafood, cooked plainly and simply, with a number of Mexican style dishes. Lots of beers and some wines to select... read more

Might've come at a bad time. Rainy Sunday not many patrons so we were happy. Ordering your meal and giving your name is all good an old local beach shack. The fresh fish in the deli refrig. looked great but I had no way to cook it so ordered in. The mahi sandwich my husband got was really fresh and... More

We enjoyed this quaint place on our drive. Very popular, homey place. Good food and friendly staff. Order at the window and pick up at the counter.

The freshest and best tasting seafood I have ever tasted. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the fried combo. Both was delicious with large portions. The sides were delicious too.

Without fail every time Im in LA the place to go for no frills easy food and atmosphere. The reel inn is just perfect when youve had enough of fine dining and just want simple grilled fish and a beer. I like the atmosphere and the small fireplaces in winter to take the edge off, especially after watching a great... More

My fiancee took me here first time during our drive from LAX to Malibu. We ate here twice over Thanksgiving week. You pick your fish from a display cooler and decide on side dishes. Then you pay and serve yourself with silverware, water, and condiments. They call your name and you pick up your food and serve yourself. Tables and... More

Loved this place! We each had the fish and chips. Great. Bought the tshirts for the kids at home. Corny I know but they are pretty neat looking. Casual atmosphere, line to order food moves quite fast. They have a well oiled machine going on. From old to young, I was amazed how good looking everyone was. Ahhh Malibu

I had the grilled shrimp. It was tasty. I had wasabi dressing on my salad. Delish. I'd definitely go back again next time I'm in the area.
