Right on the PCH you'll find this excellent seafood spot. It's across the street from the beach but you still have some great views. The place is very rustic. Order your food and they'll call you to come grab it when ready. Really fresh food. Can get a little pricey, but no more than your typical seafood joint. Excellent selection... More

Everyone knows about the Reel Inn, but I think it is a bit like the Emperor's Clothes. I do not understand all the great reviews. We stopped in over Thanksgiving Weekend and were hoping for some good seafood, but we we're let down. Most of us had very dry tasteless fish. The atmosphere was a typical beach seafood spot, but... This is an old Malibu standby. Plenty of parking and the seafood is cooked fresh. Not a fancy place but an old, pre 60's non glitz place to eat in Malibu. The food is above average to very good. The sides are fine. The charm of this place is the feel of an old time waterfront restaurant- not a chain... More

We saw the place on Man Vs. food, and been i) food lovers, and ii) fans of the USA - we made our way here when we stayed at santa monica. This place has heart and soul - it was what (we brits) might call 'rough and ready' but that was part of the charm. You queue for food, grab... More

The fish tacos here are the best! Everything is so fresh, friendly staff, casual atmosphere by the beach. You can't go wrong eating here if you are a seafood lover. I always bring friends here who are visiting from out of town. A glass of wine, fresh seafood and a beach view - sounds like a big yes!

My fish tacos were so tasteless that no amount of salsa or salt would help. Not only that but they were so soggy i couldn't even pick them up. Eating tacos with a fork is just plain wrong! My companions had the grilled sea bass and halibut which were ok, no real seasoning. Since we all just kind of picked... More

Stopping at the Reel Inn as we tool down the Pacific Coast Highway is a classic activity for our family. We love the atmosphere (informal) and the proximity to the coast. The parking is easy-can do! My favorite is the Calamari Steak. IT CANNOT BE BEAT! Other family members loved the mahi mahi, cod and especially the peppered ahi salad.... More

I have been coming here for many years. I would probably come here more often if the parking was better. The food is consistent, although I am not a huge fan of their fries. I find them kind of thick and soggy. Maybe it is because it usually comes with the cole slaw or fish which makes it that way.... More

We stopped at the Reel Inn, after passing several other places with lines out the door. We moved through the line pretty easily, being able to get a beer made the line go more quickly. I got the shrimp tacos and my husband got the halibut, both were ok. My tacos didn't have any type of sauce or pico or... More

After an amazing day body surfing at Zuma, my sister and I stopped in at the Reel In on PCH. The parking is $3 -- valet is super friendly. You stand in line and wait to order from an impressive list of options -- fish, today's catch, shrimp, in tacos, plated, quesadillas -- cooked in one of three ways. We... More
