You will find the Reel Inn just past the where Topanga intersects with the PCH. This is not actually in Malibu but close enough and worth a visit. Fresh fish, rustic environment, fun spot with decent service.

If you don't mind so so seating and serve yourself dining, the food here is really good. The price is fair, also.

We ordered fish and chips, fried calamari and wine, and everything was just okay. Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market and Patio Cafe would be the example of perfect fish and chips to my taste. Reel Inn though is a really pleasant beach cafe to spend an afternoon. We had a good time with friends after a long walk along the... More

Quick seafood - baskets and benches. Feels like a local haunt. I had shrimp tacos, my wife had scallops and Cajon rice. Not a lot of seasoning, but fresh and tasty.

This place is right off the pacific coast highway in Malibu. It's vert casual. You'd fit right in walking in with sandals and a tank top. Pick your fish, and they call you when your plate is ready. I was surprised at how much food they gave me for the price. I had the sautéed tilapia because it was recommended... More

Had an outstanding meal at the Reel Inn. Catfish with a bit of Cajun and tartar sauce on top, fresh veggies, fries...just perfect. Wine and beer ice cold, servers delightful and friendly. Right on PCH, easy parking. Do not miss this charming spot!

We had a fantastic lunch with wonderful wine while viewing the Pacific Ocean on a Sunday in Malibu. Everything was flavorful and the chowder is great! Shrimp tacos, red snapper and fried shrimp. Yummmmmm! And all at a great price.

This is the place for grilled fish and shrimp dinners or tacos. We love the sides, salad, grilled potatoes, cole slaw and so much more. When traffic is heavy on PCH we stop here, which is often lol. This is a good place coming from the beach to meet another fish lover. You order at the window and pick it... More

Local glowing reviews are puzzling .... It's a shack type building with indoor/outdoor seating -place your order and take it to your table. Fish and chips below average, order taker had bit of an attitude. french fries and cole slaw awful. What can I say? Certainly doesn't meet standards of Malibu dining! Not going back!

Get away from Santa Monica strip and head to this quiet gem. Fresh fish, simple menu. Good food and excellent value, you will not be disappointed. Met some locals from Westwood bringing their family there. Simply great!
