Legit Fish Tacos & Chowdah

I love this spot. Super assessable, close to beach, right out of Topanga Canyon and stopped by for quick food once and have been addicted since. Awesome atmosphere and outdoor area, totally casual and you get some great food for the money. This place is just a good spot, nothing fancy and... read more

Have always loved this place but was really disappointed yesterday. The fish and chips were over fried, fish tough on ends and fries burnt, and the coleslaw lacked freshness and flavor. My husband Chilean sea bass (grilled ) was excellent though the portions seemed smaller. Has this place changed hands? Still love the ambiance but $50 ? So sad!

We just love this little joint especially for take-out. Of course, it's very casual, but the food is fantastic for the money...

I've been coming to the Reel Inn for years. The food is consistently solid, but nothing special. So why return? It's quick, it's funky and it's perfectly situated to meet friends who come over Topanga from the Valley. One downside is parking in their small lot can be tricky at times, which forces you to park on PCH, but otherwise,... More

That was the phrase on the blackboard in front of The Reel Inn last evening. I have been eating here for over 20 plus years and I am always a happy customer. Last evening I had their blackened halibut with fries and coleslaw and I cleaned my plate exquisitely. Its a beachy place, laid back with fresh fish and grinning... More

I really like this place, the seafood is good and always fresh. I like the casual atmosphere and that you can walk across the street to the beach, nonetheless the sea view is good almost anywhere in this place. I would give this place an excellent rating, but I save those for when the place is truly out of this... More

Stopped here on a Sunday on the advise of a friend. Well worth it. Fresh fish, prepared how you like it. Blacked, Grilled or Cajun. Cold beer and great service. Now this isn't fine dining but it has charm. There is an inside dining room more like picnic tables but the outside patio is where it's at! Especially on a... More

The real Inn is across the street from the ocean on PCH. It's a joint with really fresh fish. We both had the Halabut with their coleslaw. For a drink I had a really tasty dark beer. The fish was really fresh, a good size dish, and delicious. Usually there's a line to order but we got there on the... More

We enjoyed our lunch at Reel Inn because the special of the day, Red Snapper with fries and coleslaw was "all of $6.95" and the portions were more than adequate and the fish was delicious! We also had a bowl of the white clam chowder and it was so full of chopped clams that it was darn near in solid... More
