Rare to find a restaurant that has world class space, views and food. Its pricey as you would expect from any Nobu culinary artistry experience. Great bar and outdoor space. As for the scene, you ask? Well, we are in Malibu. Good luck on scoring a reservation so plan ahead.

Love this restaurant , excellent food . I don not even like sushi that much . but very fresh can not get enough of their very tasty appetizers , dishes . this is not an inexpensive place so be prepared . the only problem I have yet to get a table reservation, they seem booked almost always no matter what... My cousin was visiting from Boston and made reservations months in advance for a Thursday night at 845pm, which was the only open reservation that week. The night before, they called and asked that we try to arrive early, since there is quite a bit of construction and are several bottlenecks on PCH these days. We ended up arriving at... More

You should definitely choose Omakase menu! And please!!! Do not order hamburger on the best place to have Japanese food! I had already visited Nobu in Miami and both places are amazing. Try to for lunch to enjoy the wonderful view. Reservations with 15 days... Or have your meal on the bar learning from the bests!

Another typical LA reservation story. Wolfgang Puck and Nobu Matsuhisa think it creates buzz when patrons can't reservations for weeks, can't change their appointed reservation by 30 minutes, etc... Both happened to us here, despite sitting in a half empty restaurant from noon to 1:30 pm. Service was adequate and food was disappointing. Not anywhere near the "amazing" we kept... More

Getting a reservation was hard to do as the employees were uncoprative and rude, as well as they were unflexible with any delays and changed with the reservation. I felt unwelcomed as if they didnt want me to come at all.

There is nothing you can say about the food because it's tops! Everything you order starting from your drink will be the best. There were 6 of us and no one had a bad word to say. The service is fantastic and the views if you are lucky to be seating outside or by the window will make your experience... More

despite you pay big money you are treated in a very unpleasant way ! our experience with the restaurant's general manager Mr. Brian Leno was terrible as he speaks with customers in a rude way and do not respect reservation made

We decided to drop by for lunch on our drive up the coast from LA to Napa (we stayed in Santa Barbara, Carmel, then finally Napa). It was last minute decision so we didn't have a reservation for Tuesday at noon. They didn't have any outdoor tables available but they gave us the outdoor couches in the lower bar area,... More

We were a party of four with no reservation. We get there at 6:30 but the place was already crowded. We had a few delicious cocktails at the bar while waiting for a table outside. We had great sushis, great view on the ocean, and a cocktail on the house because the waiter had forgotten to order it in time.... More
