Driving down to LA from Santa Barbara, saw this was number 1 and we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Reassuringly long queue indicated everything fresh cooked. Kept it simple with deep fried fish, fries and a portion of slaw. Coming from UK expect a lot from deep fried fish and it lived up to expectations.... More

We were driving along on PCH in Malibu enjoying the scenery on a beautiful clear day when we stopped here for lunch. We split the fried seafood platter and added a side of the fish, so we could each have one. Everything was fresh and served hot. This along with the 8 ounce bowl of the Manhattan chowder was a... This is a little restaurant on the PCH just outside Santa Monica the food we had was no less than great this place lives up to the hype. I had the chowder bread bowl my wife had the fried clams and chips very large portions of all and not greasy, coke slaw fresh and crisp.we brought a couple of beers... More

This little restaurant just off US 1 has only outdoor seating at picnic tables with beautiful views. You order inside then go pick up your order. It's a little pricey, but the food is fresh and delicious. The mahi mahi was seasoned well and the fried scallops were absolutely delicious. It's a dive, but a fun one. It's not swanky,... More

is what we asked the moment we saw this place on malibu beach! we passed it three times and every time there were at least 20 people waiting outside. This then became a must have. after waiting for the sun to set behind us over a hill, we went to malibu seafood. after waiting in line for about half an... More

The location is key - as the only decent food for miles, this place does a land-office business. The seafood is fresh, cooked well, and a decent portion. There is VERY limited parking. Your alternatives are along the highway (busy! it's PCH!), the tiny 'overflow lot', or the hikers lot next door ($5 prepay, or risk a ranger's ticket). The... More

I have been enjoying the food here for almost 20 years and the quality, serving and service have never changed - always great!! If you are visiting LA, the drive up the Pacific Coast Highway it is definitely worth it for the scenery and ocean. Then reward yourself with lunch or dinner here. The best fish & chips on the... Seriously, this place is nothing more than a fast food fish stand. It does not deserve the hype. It is dangerous to get in and out since it is right on PCH. The food is mediocre. The folks who work here seem nice. Sorry but it's nothing to get excited about.

What a great spot for lunch along the Malibu coast. Nothing fancy, but good solid food, from the crispy clam strips to the marvelous fish taco, everything was perfect. And, you can't beat it for the price.
