I visited with my daughters during our holidays in California. Malibu Seafood is ideally situated, right across the PCH from the beach. Parking is difficult (I suggest one park alongside the PCH as one approaches). The queue is fairly long, given the popularity of the place. Service was friendly. The food was well prepared, though I wouldn't say outstanding, and... More

The lines were quite long and parking surely was difficult. That's how popular this place was. I would happily go back if I was in Malibu again, especially if going to the beach. Tried the Ahi burger and it was quite overcooked, almost burnt on one side. My wife had the wahoo burger and it was excellent. Fries were real... More

Visiting Pepperdine University, we asked the Admissions tour guide for a restaurant recommendation - Thankfully, they perceived us well as a casual family, and recommended Malibu Seafood. The place doesn't look like much, but then again it overlooks the ocean with some of the best views along PCH. You order your food (mostly seafood) in the shack/market, and then pick... More

Hungry while heading north from LA, followed Tripadvisor and found Malibu Seafood. Grabbed a ceviche and fish taco, both exceeded expectations. and were both healthier & fresher than anything else you'd find at fast-food prices. Most of the other people I saw eating were having fish & chips (which looked great) but I was very happy with my choices. Will... More

After a long flight and before a long drive up the PCH, stopped here for a light lunch. Enjoyed a cup of chowder and a fish taco while watching the waves crash across the street. Pretty nice way to spend an hour in Malibu.

We had found this place on tripadvisor and so glad we did. It is nothing special in that you order your food inside then go outside to the benches and wait for your buzzer to go off then collect your food from the window. But because it is a fresh fish market, the food was excellent - I had shrimp... More

It's definitely a unique old school Malibu experience and it attracts a lot of people. I did expect more knock your socks off food given it's #1 ranking on Trip Advisor. The food was good but not great. Reviewers raved about the clam chowder. It was good, but Brophy Bros. in Santa Barbara is better. I tried all 3 of... More

I've lived here my entire life and every single time i have a friend or family member visiting from afar, i make it a point to take them here. This place has the best and freshest tasting seafood in the city. They make their catch every morning and serve it for lunch every day. There nothing I haven't tried, and... More

We just ate here this past weekend while sight seeing in Malibu. Absolutely delicious food! The young man who was the cashier (I didn't remember his name sorry!) asked how our day was so far and what we had been doing all day to make some conversation while we were ordering and waiting for food. He was so nice! I... More

Most options were deep fried (which isn't my thing), but they had a raw seafood counter where I combined seaweed salad with raw tuna to create my own Ahi Poke, which was delicious. Expensive though.
