Recently had dinner (twice) at Geoffreys Malibu! What a beautiful view, fabulous location (I was in walking distance), and great service. I had the couscous veggie salad (twice). Very fresh and healthy - loved it! My guests had the steak and one of the seafood dishes and both were delicious. Must try the bread too. Try to go at sunset... More

Beachside restaurant with nice view from some tables but that's about it. Very poor quality food, served cold and tasteless. Survives on its location not its food or value. Inside is like an 80's school cafeteria, outside is nice but only if you get a table at the fron or else you could be anywhere. Place to show off in,... More

It does not matter if you are a local or from out of town. One of the finest places to enjoy a nice night with family and friends. Also one of the most romantic places in town. Enjoy fine food and amazing service from a friendly staff.

Food good, service great, view amazing. Consider visiting at lunch to enjoy the sun and surf. Fantastic cocktails. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Even at night, the views are stunning and the patio is romantic, exotic and a little otherworldly. The service is attentive, but laid back and the food is ok, but not great. The preparations all feel a little dated and are not as perfectly executed as they should be at the prices you are paying. The cocktails were basic but... More

This Malibu institution has incredible ocean views and great food. Request an outdoor table on the patio for the best views in the house. Like most restaurants in Malibu, casual dress is perfectly acceptable for dining. Geoffrey's has an extensive and varied menu at lunch and dinner, and options include fresh seafood and fish, pastas, pizzas and other delicious appetizers... More

If in LA - you must stop here. The views alone are amazing. The food was fantastic and service was great. Come here right at sunset.

it used to be one of the most exquisite restaurants in LA. While food is still great, service is now of an average eatery with low-life busboys and barmen. Bar is noisy, mainly because of slamming dishes and unprofessional staff. Waiters are poorly trained and are rude. Will not go there again.

We had a great time at Geoffrey's. The atmosphere and ambiance of this outdoor spot are second to none - absolutely awesome! The food was good but not as great as the surroundings. Nonetheless, I would go back again just for the atmosphere.

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
