Beautiful place, good food, OK service, quite pricy

We were a group of 5. We all had seafood, everyone enjoyed their food. I had the scallops on risotto. The quantity was perfect, and the food was delicious. I also had the watermelon salad which was wonderful. I ordered a martini dirty, and it came just plain. I was brought olive juice which i... read more

You're paying a lot of money just for the fantastic views. The food is mediocre, the server Rey is timid and seem to be uninterested in Us because we didn't order an expensive bottle of wine . He didn't recite the specials of the day. We had to hear it from the server of the table next to us. Seafood... More

The view is beyond amazing, best ocean view in Los Angeles. The food is delicious and while it may seem expensive, it is worth every cent. The aubergine and quinoa starter is to die for. Make sure to make a reservation and be there for the sunset.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary on a beautiful Saturday evening in Malibu. We were provided with a great table, tucked into a corner of the elevated deck overlooking the Pacific. Hanna, our server, took great care of us. The shrimp and tuna appetizers were really good, the beet and Caesar salads were good, and the beef fillet was excellent . Adequate... More

Enjoyed a lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean on a perfect day. The service was a spot on as you come to expect in the U.S. (Australia could learn something here) we also found the pricing surprisingly reasonable compared to Australia for a restaurant of this calibre and location. Would definitely visit again.

Went here for a special occassion. We were seated at a table next to people with a dog perched on the chair. Thankfully they left. The hostessess than promptly seated another couple next to us with another dog. This was an even bigger dog and the owner brought his bed for under the table. This is unbelieveable to me. I... More

Go to Geoffrey's for an easy fast dinner on the panoramic route via Highway 1. The scene is terrific: ask for a table by the window on the terrace and try their ceviche for appetizer! Amazing flavour and scent of cilantro! Great spot!

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
