Brunch with Dolphins

Perfect place for brunch. Great view of the ocean where the occasional school of dolphins make an appearence. The food and service are what you'd expect from a quality restaurant.

We've made the trek to Geoffrey's several times over many years and the traffic back to LA this trip was unbelievably challenging. But nevertheless, worth it. The views are unparalleled; the service extraordinary; and the food is absolutely fresh, delicious and creative. My shiitake omelet was a new experience and my husband's lobster quiche was light and tasty. Portions are... More

You come to Malibu & Geoffrey's for that special occasion when an expensive meal is OK for the budget. It's a Power Spot up on the cliff side in Malibu. You'll mingle with the power people behind the scenes in LA / Hollywood and members of the well heeled group. Your wait staff member will be a good looking guy... More

We got off to a slow start with our waiter Ray. He asked about our water preference, but as Californians we think that a patron should have to practically beg for a glass. Anyway, two glasses of Malibu's finest arrived but Ray had vanished.? Finally he appeared for our cocktail orders and appetizers, we ordered the tuna tartare (which arrived... More

Thrilled to secure a prime outdoor seating location or a party of nine just 48 hours prior to our arrival. The excellent service and food (and view) exceeded expectations. I hope to return soon and would recommend a visit noting that the "price point" is on the high end.

We were there after dining at Nobu for cocktails so can not rate the menu other than to say the place is 1st class on service, setting and variety of things we saw.

Ocean view dining high on Malibu cliffs. Menu isn't full-on gourmet, but I love everything on it. Filet mignon was perfect, good wine list, delicious flan, a real Ceaser salad. Request and hope for a patio view table and watch the sunset. People watching is fun too.

Came here for brunch on a beautiful sunny day in the beginning of July along with 3 friends We all had a three course "a la carté" menu where we chose different dishes, they were all delicious and to be honest the price wasn't to scary either. According to other reviews here I thought we would be broke after coming... More

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
