My husband and I took our friend who was visiting from Virginia for lunch the day after Thanksgiving. Since our friend has never been this was an absolute treat for her. We were delighted to get an outside table and the views of course were gorgeous. Our waitress Roxanne or Roxanna was super super cool and we enjoyed her service... More

I liked the location and the view of this place - unbeatable! The food is OK (nothing to scream about) and a little too "American" (no offence). But the cocktails are great and honestly - for this view it's totally worth it.

This is the place to have a great dinner and watch the sun depart California for Hawaii. It was really beautiful. We sat inside, but the next time I would sit by the bar in the open, looking at the sea. We all had fish and we were pleased with taste, portions and presentation. They valet park, so you don't... Enjoyed an after Thanksgiving dinner at Moonshadows. Everyone loved their choices- delicious salads, clam chowder, pasta with lobster and crab, black cod, sea bass, and bouillabaisse- lovely fresh rolls- Located on the beach although it was dark when we got there- lovely salt air smell and breeze.

Absolutely incredible place! I visit California almost every weekend if not every other from Vegas and I'm always up for some great food while taking in the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean! I looked this place up because a friend of mine asked to do brunch out in Malibu and after spending almost an hour going back and forth... More

On a beautiful day with the sun shining down, there's nothing better then sitting out on the deck at Moonshadows! The view is beautiful of the Pacific Ocean, as well as the coastline looking south towards Santa Monica. The drinks are flowing, the food is good and you have the perfect day!

I must say the food (chiliean sea bass , scallops) were awesome as was the view. I felt the service was a bit lacking. As a single women I was treated as a 'single female' who does not tip!. My change given for my bill was enough for a 25% tip, yet I asked for the bill to be broken.... More

Moonshadhows in Malibu. Just sounds cool, doesn’t it? Well from what I can tell, it is! I stopped by here on Sunday evening with a friend and what a perfect place for a nightcap! Set along the majestic coast of Malibu along the Pacific Coast Highway, the original site of the Big Rock Café (think coffee shop) from 1949 to... More
