After a busy day of shopping in Malibu Country Mart, we stopped in here for margaritas and guacamole. The place was just getting busy and lots of staff running around, so we patiently waited and waited for a waiter. After 10 minutes, I stopped a manager to ask for service. She was very nice and promised to send someone over.... More

Patio dining that soaks in the cool of Malibu. The vibe is outstanding and the food enhanced by the atmosphere and the people. A cuban flair with a contemporary spin....and a nightly soundtrack that allows for great conversation and good fun. If you are in LA and want to take a short drive up PCH get to the 'Bu and... More

My friend has a lot of food allergies. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes. Fish Tacos, Kale salad with Salmon and the corn are all great dishes.

First these guys don't even know that they spelled habana the correct way. It's spelled with a v only in English. Second, the only thing that is even Cuban about this place is the music, the title, maybe one drink, and a sandwich that's close by not quite it. I am Cuban and have never in my life been served... Had lunch here while traveling in the area, healthy and delicious meal, good portions. You really have to look for it, not highly visible location/signage. Would definitely come back when in the area.

The fresh fish tacos and a cold beer! Food is always fresh and healthy in a comfortable setting along the Pacific Coast Highway. The grilled salmon is also very good but the fish tacos are a repetitive choice.

This place was a good find within the villages in Malibu. The menu is predominantly mexican food, but you can also get sandwiches or burgers. We started with guacamole which was very fresh and flavorful. The feedback on the margaritas was very good - they are nice and strong. I ordered the brown rice bowl with chicken and kept commenting... More

Stopped in at Cafe Habana in Malibu one Tuesday evening, while driving the Pacific Coast Highway between Oxnard and LA. A bar-restaurant, the cafe backs onto the PCH, but was relatively quiet inside. There was sports on the big wall screens, but thankfully the sound was muted on all of them. Ordered the salmon filet and a side of Cuban... More
