Not as good as we hoped.

Stopped for late lunch there. Service was good. Attentive, nice, and helpful. Decor nothing to remember especially. Some interesting artful photographs on the walls but that's about it. Food nothing special. Spicy calamari was not spicy. Guacamole pretty good. Goat cheese quesadilla... read more

Stopped for late lunch there. Service was good. Attentive, nice, and helpful. Decor nothing to remember especially. Some interesting artful photographs on the walls but that's about it. Food nothing special. Spicy calamari was not spicy. Guacamole pretty good. Goat cheese quesadilla uninspired. Great location in Malibu. Simple, trendy and cozy design. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Excellent food quality and good portions. Overall, it was such a great experience. If you're lucky, you might spot a celebrity having a bite there. Leonardo Dicaprio was spotted there only a couple of days after we left Malibu :)

Cafe Habana is a great little restaurant tucked in the lumber yard. I ate here multiple times while living in the area and always have to make a stop when I'm in town. They have a nice outside covered patio that is perfect for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is really laid back. I'm a big fan of their carne... More

The fish tacos and spicy ear of corn are my consistent favorites at Habana. I go at least once every time I'm in Malibu and they've never disappointed. The ambiance is relaxed Malibu; comfortable with friendly staff.

I read all the great reviews and could not wait to try this place. While the food is not authentic Cuban, it is very good. Service was great! Three of us ordered different dishes and all of us were very happy with our choices. Would definitely come back to this restaurant!

Met a friend for dinner on a Monday night. We sat on the patio and enjoyed their signature iced tea which was delicious. The service was good, ambience was laid back, and the food was tasty. Overall a good experience, though nothing memorable. The location was tucked away in shopping area, not easy for an out-of-towner to find.

M not such a Mexican/Mexican-like food usually fan yet this place was good for me and my friends as one can find less fatty dishes then those served in many others Mexican restaurants Our favorites were rice with avocado, black beans ,seafood and veggies, fish hamburger ( we gave up the roll and still was real good) .

After a busy day of shopping in Malibu Country Mart, we stopped in here for margaritas and guacamole. The place was just getting busy and lots of staff running around, so we patiently waited and waited for a waiter. After 10 minutes, I stopped a manager to ask for service. She was very nice and promised to send someone over.... More
