Wow this place had great service and a great menu to pick from. Our waiter really was quick and made sure we were well taken care of. We will be back

Business dinner at sunset was a huge treat, outdoor seating right above the ocean at high tide. Food was delicious- fresh NoCal oysters, heirloom tomato salad, tenderloin steak, rosemary fingerling potatoes. Paired up with a Summerland Santa Barbara County Caberenet, and all is right with the world. Service was pleasant but slow- in this instance, it was only a minor... More

Had dinner here twice and breakfasts. Each meal was taken outside sitting over the ocean which was a contributory factor to our enjoyment. Service and food is of a high standard and the clientele is quite mixed. You are in Malibu and overlooking the sea expect prices to match but I thought fair for the quality.

Amazing and comfortable deck in an intimate setting that felt exclusive. Relaxing hearing the waves and tasting the oysters. Had a great Pinot Noir while talking the world away with friends. Nice little fire pit evened out the temp when it got chilly. Great space and a great evening.

The best feature is the view Amazing view on the ocean and Malibu Pier Very nice terrace, well heated and arranged. Not too many tables this is definitely a romantic place. Food : Rather expensive and just average. We took some specialty plates, nothing was great just well ok. Lack of great taste. I think they have too many meals... More

My fiancee' and I went to check out the hotel for a possible wedding site and to have a romantic dinner. While the waves crash under the deck and the ocean makes for a spectacular backdrop, it's a little less intimate than I had hoped being seated indoors. Not to say I was disappointed- the food was great and price... More

My wife and I went here for Friday night early dinner at 6:00. The restaurant was very quiet at this time so it was very relaxing on the patio. We had a great table overlooking the water. Despite being June and on the water travelers might be surprised at how cool it can be. I had jeans and a long-sleeved... More

We stopped at Carbon Beach Club for breakfast on our way down highway 1. The breakfast was excellent and service was great! However, the thing that makes this place special is the location right on the beach and the amazing view from the deck.

You just cannot beat this restaurant for coastal dining al fresco. Of course, that could be said about many other restaurants on the beach, but this place has intimacy which most don't. There is no rushing you here. The restaurant is located in the Malibu Beach Inn - 43 rooms of luxury - so they are not set up for... More
