Nicest restaurant in Maders.

I have dined at the Vineyard many times and have never been let down on the experience. Living in the Madera area your choice of better class dining is limited. The Vineyard has been a Madera staple for a very long time. It's a timeless restaurant. The use of local seasonal ingredients was done here long before it was trendy. Fig season brings mouth watering additions to the menu. Year-around favorites are the lamb shank and the lasagna. This last visit I tried the tritip sandwich for the first time,... More

A good crowd of locals can be an indication of a restaurant that is worth trying and the Vineyard had a full car park with more cars parked at the side of the road. The locals had made a good choice and certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves. The restuarant has a high ceiling which makes it feel even more... More

Nice old style restaurant with excellent food and wine. Friendly wait staff. Their dinner menu is excellent. You have to try the figs and prosciutto when they are in season.

Went to The Vineyard in April 2015, hadn't been there for three years--and the maître d' Chris Mariscotti not only recognized me and greeted me warmly but led me to the same booth I had occupied in 2012! C'mon, this is a bustling venue that concentrates on great and inventive cuisine, and he has that kind of deep memory of... More

They have really managed to hold on to getting it right for quite a few years now. The faces change, the excellent product remains. Just excellent lasagna was worth the visit. All the other food and libations were spot on as well. Our service was attentive from start to finish. Next time I'll save room for dessert.

The vineyard is an awesome place to got to with ur family!! Their raviolis are very good! I would also recommend to order their Mary's chicken!!! Please go there and eat! You might need to bring $90-$100 if you're going to eat their with a family.

Visited Madera for business. Needed a place to eat lunch and this was a great choice. Beef minestrone and crispy duck salad stook out! The soup was definitely home made, and it was tasty. Duck skin was crispy and the meat was done just right- super tender, on a bed of salad. We were pleasantly surprised to have such well... More

Started with a wedge salad, disappointing, watery blue cheese dressing, even thought they through on a few crumbles of blue cheese, and light on the bacon. Entree was their Pan Seared Salmon Salad. The salmon, still moist, but a little over cooked for my liking, was buried under a pile of what looked liked fired Asian noodle strips. Not sure... More

Traveled a short distance from Fresno to try out The Vineyard. The ambiance was elegant, relaxed and low lit. Our server and hostess were very kind. I'd have to say one of the best service I've had a long time. It didn't take longer than 20 minute for our two dishes to come out. I ordered a pasta dish, and... More
