We liked the outdoor tables for breakfast. The food was delicious. We were a large group so it was a little slow getting everyone's food but not a big deal.

We stopped in for some breakfast before rafting the American River. They have generous portions of potatoes and delicious fresh baked toast, but the scrambles are a little small. Not a big deal though with all those taters!

We visited nearby Marshall Gold Discovery Park and were looking for a place to have late lunch on a Wednesday. The only place open was Sierra Rizing. My husband had the chili and he said it was good. I had the vegetable frittata, which was good. The bakery items looked good.

The staff is very kind and let me hang out for an extra hour after closing because I was killing time. I had one of their pastries, which was kind of a half-pie, half-calzone concoction. It was tasty! The atmosphere is relaxing and right by the river so you can relax or stop in after a rafting or kayaking trip.

Its a great little coffee house that doubles as a full service bakery. Great place to stop in for a quick bite or a full meal.

Fresh coffee and great prepared treats. Wish we frequented here more often when visiting. Service was A+ and staff even ground a bag of coffee beans for us. Many thanks for your friendly and warm welcome to the area.

Had a wonderful breakfast there the night after my wedding at the Sierra Nevada House. The owner here I heard has lots of experience as a pastry chef in San Francisco. I can see why. The pastries were fresh and wonderful. The breakfast done with very little grease and fresh ingredients. The outside patio was wonderful to hang around on... More
