Always excellent

It had been several years since I'd been here and I'd only been here for dinner - this time we came for lunch. I was not disappointed. The menu has good variety - I had the BBQ Brisket and it was very tasty. They have a great wine list - I had a glass of Provenance Pwave blend and it... read more

Of all the "hot places" to visit this place nailed it. Best food in the area! Incredible value! Food value is the best, told them to increase price. Matt did a great job on wine list. Sam the owner was present and concerned about our visit. A must see, 30years in business! Go visit this place! It's worth it!

Good variety of foods (light to heavy fare), including more than one obligate vegetarian item (I love having choices!) and excellent wine choices.I had the Alba pizza - very satisfying and not overly dry, which can be a problem with white pizzas. I found our waiter a little dismissive (no eye contact, maybe he was disappointed because I ordered no... More

Sitting al fresco under the vine-covered patio, enjoying a glass of local wine and one of the best pizzas ever is a dining event that ranks as one of the best! Salads made with fresh, local ingredients in season, a great selection of pizzas and pastas featuring ingredients for every taste, great coffee, huge wine list, and desserts to delight...... More

Other than going to the Fess Parker (that is right across the street), I think that the Los Olivos Wine Merchant Cafe is best place to eat in Los Olivos. It has a variety of unusual salads, burgers, and more formal entrees. But my favorite is their pizzas. We usually find ourselves there after sampling a number of local vineyards,... More

good food, good wine, good service, not much else needed to be said. Recommend it. They didn't have our reservation in the system when we arrived, but we were easily accommodated.

Loved our dining experience. Food was delicious - had the short ribs and the lamb shank both of which were melt in your mouth full of flavor good! Best of all was the staff - they were all so very accommodating. Gave us tastes of wines before getting a bottle. It's definitely a must go to restaurant in this area.

Anytime we are in this part of the world, we will stop here for lunch. The food is always good and the staff are always attentive. There are a number of good restaurants in the area, but this is our favorite, and sometimes if you want something different, you can take home a lost
