If you are on the Route 1 trip, then this is a great stop off. The town is very nice with great stores and local wines galore. This restaurant was very good with good food and service. We felt we had found an oasis!! Highly recommended for a superb lunch.

We had dinner here after a day of wine tasting. We sat outside on the small patio with the view of the street. Actually, it was quite peaceful-the town sort of shuts down after 5 pm. I had a greek style pizza that was just perfect. The crust was chewy, not too much cheese, with great flavors. My husband had... More

We have eaten here for lunch many times and have enjoyed the salads. I ordered a hamburger and was quite disappointed. they bothered to ask how I would like it, I like it rare. It was served well done, and impossible to bite the bun and burger at same time, to thick. the grease poured out. the waitress saw the... More

The menu doesn't change much so if you are a local it is not a automatic yes on the nights you would rather not cook. It is easy for people that are passing through town due to it's location. I would say it is just OK but it is often full in the weekends so someone likes it a lot.

Los Olivos is way too easy to over do it on the wine tastings (it's possible, we did six in one day). Take a break and fuel up in the middle. Really wanted a mushroom and truffle oil wood-fired pizza and they make a good one. Perfect base food. A little crowded on the streetside patio, but yummy.

This place knocked it out of the park for us during our visit this Tuesday afternoon about 3 pm. Excellent local wine selections; menu delightful (chicken curry salad - best I have had); server, Kyle, was superb with nice help in making our selections, and helping us understand the tasting process. We will go back, get a seat at the... More

By far the more popular place in the area. It was rather busy for a Monday late afternoon lunch. We had stopped by on a trip from Paso Robles a few years ago & had fond memories of it but were kinda rushed back then as we had hours more driving to get home. We remember it being quiet, romantic,... More

This was our last night in Los Olivos and after a month long trip, with visits to many fine restaurants, we were mostly in the mood for comfort food. This restaurant has a wonderful reputation and I was sorry that I did not want a full meal. We chose to sit outside, as the evening was cooling and the view... More

I have eaten at quite a few restaurants in the Solvang area and this is my favorite. (Just across the street is Petro's which is also excellent.) The service is excellent. I had sausages made from Boar's meat. My date ate one of the specials (a Salmon dish). Both were excellent. The wine list is local, and very good. The... More

On Monday 6-16 we went to the cafe again for lunch as we were ending our stay. We sat at the bar. The server Cecilia , was not as iintentive as our server at dinner a couple of nights before. We had to ask and remind several times for things we had asked for when ordering. She was more into... More
