Sideways aside, this is a very good restaurant with a world-class (or should I say, a who's who of Santa Ynez) wine list. The curry chicken salad is a winner. Overall, a great place. more

busy place. We had to wait 45 min at 1pm on a Saturday. But they have a great selection of wines to examine. Food was amazing. I ordered two appitizers and wanted to order more they all looked so great. My husband had a turkey burger that was fantastic. more

We visited mid-week and ate an early dinner. We're so happy we didn't settle for just any place, but ran about Ballard, Solvang and Los Olivos looking for what fit our style -- OH SO HAPPY we found the Los Olivos Cafe and Wine Merchant! My wife and I spent a few days in Los Olivos. On the first day we ate at the cafe because of the movie. The meal was okay; nothing special.
