Mouth watering, delicious

Oh gosh we will be back to Sides. Their food is spectacular. We had the calamari, carrot soup with fennel olive oil and pork ribs. Absolutely, outstanding flavor. I'd read good reviews of this restaurant and was not disappointed! We had fish tacos, mushroom burger and an upside down cake. Excellent. In particular the burger (which another reviewer was ecstatic about) was PERFECT! There are burgers and then there are burgers done SO well, you relish every bite. This was one. Nice atmosphere. Good service. I'd say you... More

You would think a small restaurant in a small town would put out a small meal; not so here. The amazing quality and simplistic creativity of the food is outstanding. Sauces are not overdone, rather the freshness of the ingredients themselves is bursting with flavor. I had the lamb and my husband had the scallops, starting with the pea tendril... More

This place is a gem. We had a dinner reservation, and were immediately seated, choosing to enjoy a table outside on the front porch. The food was spectacular and the selection of local wines was great. I enjoyed the fried chicken, and my wife had the wonderful sliders for that evening. The staff was fun and attentive. This should be... More

Great restaurant in the most lovely, quaint little town. This restaurant is not as good as the sister spot Mattei's Tavern but is a wonderful place to check out none the less. We went for lunch and shared the fried brussels sprouts, fish tacos and fried chicken sandwich and found everything to be very fresh and tasty. Being in the... More

Wow-what a great night out at Sides. Definitely make a reservation, but the service was great and the food was impeccable. Try the brussel sprouts and bacon as starters and any entree-you can't go wrong. Dessert topped off the whole night. Don't miss a dinner here.

It is a rare thing when everything I have at a restaurant is great, including the atmosphere and service. "Sides" did not disappoint with their Fennel Soup (a seasonal item), Brussels Sprouts and Miso Cured pork belly tacos. As well, the drinks, service and atmosphere (sit outside where it is quieter), were great. So, take a few extra minutes from... More

Wonderful fresh food in quaint surroundings. Only been for lunch but greatly enjoyed it and plan on returning again and again on future visits to Los Olivos. Highly recommend the hammered pig sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. Salad look wonderful. The bacon steak is glorious! You will not be disappointed. Reservations recommended for the weekend and peak tourist periods.

Great food, pleasant service and lovely atmosphere. Grilled scallops were outstanding. The must have, of course, is the burger. You will not leave hungry. Do not miss this one if you are around the area.

Visited Sides again. Still good. Staff is friendly but service is a little slow. My turkey bacon avocado sandwich was great. Huge with a very soft bun. Burgers look amazing. Lots of salads to choose from.
