BEST KEPT SECRET IN LOS OLIVOS

If you're in Los Olivos there are three restaurants that will always be recommended. The Los Olivos Cafe, Sides Hardware and Shoes, and Matteis Tavern. All of them are excellent restaurants. My husband and Daughters and Granddaughters enjoyed a very delicious meal at Petros in Los Olivos located in the Fess Parker Hotel on Grand Street. This was our first experience at this restaurant as we usually go to another restaurant across the street. Petros has a full bar and there is seating on the porch or on the back patio... More

Had dinner at Petro on Saturday night and what a huge disappointment!!! The service was soooooooo slow and seemed not to care, but rather were simply going through the motions. When we were first seated at our table (actually, we were told to seat ourselves which was surprising in this caliber of a restaurant), we watched the wait staff attend... More

Not a wide selection, but tasty. I had a salmon dinner and the filet was a little over cooked. Service was ok at dinner, but this is where you also have breakfast and the coffee service was not up to par.

Petros set up private room for 14 people ordering from the menu. Great food. Nice small room. Good service.

Four of us enjoyed lunch. There were delicious pita breads and spreads, but we had to ask for more pita pieces. I had grilled octopus and calamari with diced red and yellow beets and herbs, drizzled in a wonderful olive oil. DEVINE. We also had wonderful fried calamari, lamb pizza, lamb burgers-all good. Overall, service should have been better.

Our group of five visited Petros for lunch on a Saturday. The ambience is starkly modern and cool. We had various mezze, some wine, pizza, and these were all tasty; however the service was slow and pretty detached. We all thought it was a good experience overall although probably not worth the price paid. If you're in Los Olivos, Petros... More

We visited Petros for dinner. We were shown to a nice table near the fire. Not all tables were occupied, but the room was extremely noisy because the stark decor, though attractive, has no sound absorbing materials whatsoever. This made it difficult to communicate with each other, let alone the server. We found the food to be good, but not... More

Yum yum. We ordered take-out tonight and were not disappointed, wow. We sat at the bar for a drink while our food was being readied and it was a great experience with the fire in the main room and comfortable lighting + service. Can't go wrong stopping here.
