There are too many Greek style restaurants like this. We were impress by the ambiance of the hotel lobby and then the beautiful restaurant. We started with the avgolemono soup with the traditional egg lemon soup pulled chicken, orzo, avgolemeno mousse which was served having the soup poured over the mouse. The one problem was the Lamb Shoulder for two... More

Welcomed by friendly staff which was the beginning of some of the best customer service I have had in the US. The waitress was very knowledgeable of all the food and wine and we felt by the end of the evening that we had known her for years. Although the price of the food is on the expensive side the... This is the one and only place I order lamb. I don't like lamb (anywhere else) but there is something special about Dio Deka. Whatever the magic rub and grilling method is, the lamb chops are so good you will want to chew every last bite off the bone. Paithakia ... Double-cut, Mesquite-grilled lamb chops. Dio Deka is always hopping... More

we have enjoyed this restaurant for the past 6 years during our visits to Los Gatos and so in that tradition looked forward to last weeks Thanksgiving visit . Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our dinners. We ordered the lamb chops as we have before but the quality of the meat was not up to Dio Deka standards of... More

You cannot go wrong with the food and wine list here. It's pricey and worth it. Ingredients are fresh and the preparation is superb. The bar scene is quite alive. The only reason I cannot bring myself to rate it a 5 is because of the very snooty service, which I've found to be downright insulting, even when spending significant... More

We live in Los Gatos, and have eaten at Dio Deka many times over the years. During this period they have changed chefs, and there has been regular turn-over in the wait staff. Despite this, the food and service have been consistently excellent. We would eat there more frequently if it were not so pricey.

was there a couple of days ago on a Thursday. Went with family. Food was really great but I was surprised about the lack of attention our guy had with us as if we did not exist. I hope this is isolated but the food is great especially the ribs, Greek salad and the halibut....

Have been to this restaurant twice since spring 2014. Once late April and once with guests in September. Not overly impressed with taste quality of dishes, nor was our guest who eats out frequently. Also very noisy atmosphere, difficult to hear companions at table.

Had dinner here while staying at the hotel. Everything was lovely, but the portions were tiny for the prices charged. I think this is a great place if you want to splurge and/or are on an expense account, but I would not go back.

Dio is a good restaurant. The food is usually quite good. I would recommend the whole fish- sea bass. The branzino used to be great, but now is overcooked and salty- it's a shame. The staples there are the meatballs, the greek spreads, the rack of lamb, and the whole sea bass. For dessert, don't miss the yogurt desert with... More
