Good food, Great Fun!

My wife and I and a friend of ours went for the evening because we heard how fun this place was. I knew to expect a decent price tag, so that prepared me for the evening. It is fairly expensive but you have to remember that you are buying dinner and not just a show but multiple shows. The... read more

The Magic is Great, The Food is Good. A little overpriced but the experience of going to see the Amazing magic is worth it. The Seafood and Steaks were made to order, nice portions, The salad was very good. Not very happy with the Mac and Cheese, skip that dish. Make sure you see the Palace of Mystery, the seats... More

I took my 10-year-old son for the Sat. brunch and I was pleasantly surprised the food was great! I read reviews that said the dinner wasn't worth the money, but I can say the brunch certainly was! The line was long though. They offered shrimp cocktails crab legs an omelette station plenty of pastries and desserts, salads butternut squash casseroles,... More

If you can get in... I admit my visits were some years ago - and when it was quite hard to get in - you needed an invitation. I drove past it the other day and it seems like it may have been renovated a bit. I loved seeing the magic acts. The dining room food was blah and over-priced.... More

I think the Magic Castle Chef must've been upgraded. It was always a cut above, but I took some gourmet friends to dine the other night and the menu was beyond fine. The prime rib has always been my staple, but I went for the Beef Wellington in puff pastry with a liver and truffle pate under the mushroom layer.... More

Up front I'll tell you I'm biased. Been a member for three decades. The building and its history are great, the meals are great, the shows are great, the magic memorabilia on display makes it one of the best Magic Museums in the world. I see performers there that are often on TV - so much better to see them... More

If you haven't been, you haven't lived! On the bucket list! The building itself is historic and amazing, like being in London for the night!
