As many on this review board state, its not just the food, it is the experience. First off, the ambience and décor is amazingly appealing. I time to do some shopping in the restaurant before our friends arrived. Yes, I said shopping. Terrific jewelry, books, sculptures, et al. We then settled down for some cocktails, which was a great introduction... More

I had a chance to dine in this restaurant with a friend. Fantastic decor with several themed areas. We concentrated on the tapas. There were mostly modern tapas and nothing traditional. If you are adventurous then this is one place you should try. Come with several friends so you can savor all the tapas.

The food is quite tasty and delicious for the most part. But you really do pay for it. I think if you're a guy, and you want a satiating fill of calories, expect to spend $100~$150 for yourself, and about $100 for your date. If you possible, come during the DineLA week, where tasting courses are offered at around $45.... More

We had a wonderful experience and everybody in our party enjoyed the surroundings and especially the food. We can recommend it to everybody and very good value. When we go back to LA , we'll return.

Discard any negative reviews, this place is great, the service, and the food is simply extraordinary. Not to mention the drinks. If you are in LA, have around $200, you will enjoy dinner for two.

We ordered a mix of modern and traditional tapas and the food was outstanding. Unfortunately, the service was poor and our waiter (Albert?) just rude. It's a shame how such great cooking just got spoiled by arrogant and unprofessional service.

We quickly decided to order the liquid nitrogen cocktails and the caipirinha was excellent. We ordered a bunch of small plates and they were all very good - especially the seared chicken with dates. The only one we would not recommend is the squid with eggplant. I think it would have tasted better with charred octopus. There was a very... More

We had booked three months in advance by OpenTable as we knew it was a holiday evening when many places would be full. Our bad experience started when we called the restaurant to ask whether they would have availability half an hour early. They told us that they could not accommodate us as they were totally full. On arrival on... More

We tried everything. It was delicious and spectacular. Philippe Stark design is unique and the ambiance is great. I enjoyed sitting at the chef's counter. Ask for magic mojito, liquid olives and the veggie hilly cheesesteaks. A nice dinner experience in a trendy spot. Only valet parking.
