You can't go wrong with Scoops. They prepare the most unique ice cream flavors on site, and offer a flavor for every connoisseur. Some have alcohol, others are sugar free. Some are made with pistachio, and others are all dependent on what is currently in season. The price is extremely reasonable, and one scoop actually gets you two. So, you... More

The ice cream here is amazing. Rich and creamy. Very interesting flavors like green tea. My sister has the red velvet and I had the cheesecake Oreo cookie flavor. Both were delicious. The portions are generous and the price is far. One plus is that there is some parking out front at meters and on the street. Great place with... More

I haven't been here in a while and I tried Almond Yuzu and Pineapple Pomegranate. The almond is oh so good..a slight nutty taste to satisfy your taste buds. The pineapple had a VERY subtle pomegranate taste to it.

I had found out about Scoops by googling vegan friendly places in LA before my trip and it exceeded ALL of my expectations. They have an extensive range of flavours including several vegan ones every day. I had a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter and another of hazelnut banana and both were amazingly delicious and generously portioned. I can't... More

We went to the location on Overland with some friends who recommended them for dessert. Amazing and unique flavor combinations. Good prices and an abundance free tastes! The brown brown bread actually has a barley nugget cereal in it. Used to make it hot with milk and sugar for my kids, who also really liked this flavor in ice cream.... More

The best thing about Scoops is the insane flavor combinations they devise, who would have thought brown bread and olive oil were viable ice cream options? Believe me, they are and the staff will happily let you taste every flavor before you choose your two scoops for the small cone.

The ice cream at Scoops is really, really good. They do not have a ton of flavors. They make whatever they decide to make, perhaps eight or ten flavors a day. They don't tend to make plain chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. Instead, they go for a bit fancier stuff. And did I say it was really, really good? I've never... More

This little ice cream shop is great! Each of their homemade ice creams has two flavors in one: chocolate-cheery, green tea-eggnog, coffee kahlua, strawberry oreo! In a one scoop cone (which is $2.75), you actually get two scoops--and two different flavorsif you want! They even have non-dairy selections! There are cute little tables inside and some laid back and very... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
