One of the best Mexican restaurants in Hollywood. Reliable home cooked food always satisfying. Long lines at lunch. Breakfast is delicious chorizo and eggs a must. Carne asada burritos and Chile rellenos and the enchiladas the tastiest. Homemade chips and salsa

Had wanted some Mexican food since the night before and we ate at a restaurant but it wasn't good at all. So we found this place last night on here and we decided to try it out and I'm glad we did because it was delicious!

My boyfriend was reluctant about going to this place as it doesn't look anything special. But, it was delicious. It was cheap and cheerful, very tasty and it was a strange but endearing place. I had a burrito (I think) and I think my boyfriend had enchiladas. Great stuff!

A favorite of local soccer moms, my wife bought takeout from here a couple of times. Bland, tasteless. Needed a quick bite yesterday on way to pick up my son so I tried it again. Watery bland guacamole and beans. Dry, tasteless chicken quesadillas. Suburban, bland, nondescript "Mexican" in the middle of Larchmont area. Go to Pinches instead, tons better... More

This is like home-cooked food: simple, tasty, authentic. The food is super fresh, the homemade tortillas sublime, and the guacamole outstanding. We've eaten here over a dozen times (and drive about a 1/2 hour to get here), and we have NEVER been less than impressed. The mole is gorgeous—complex enough to keep your tastebuds on edge, spicy enough but not... More

A bit of the same after all those years... but good and well executed. Still affordable with a great friendly attitude from the owners and the staff. The tortillas are not house made anymore but good quality.

Good Mexican food shouldn't be hard to find in California but strangely it is. That's because everybody with an aunt that cooks has decided to open a place even when they have no talent and nothing unique. This is not the case with Tere's. Someone came into work once with Tere's nachos and just the sight of them put my... More

I drove by Tere's every day for years before going in one day. It's a simple, order-at-the-counter place with a fairly standard lineup of Mexican menu items, but the quality is head and shoulders above the competition. Things are always consistent, because the same people work here ALL the time. For this reason, they usually close for a couple of... More
