This place was good if you are stopping by. We shared a personal sized kale piZza. The portions were big for the price. We didn't even finish it! There was a great lemony flavor and the mozzarella was incredibly fresh. The kale was shaved which gave it a wonderful crispness. They also had lots of unique flavors of pizza (ex.... More

Went with lunch with people from work. They have some really unique specials available which I couldn't get due to an allergy. I got a sandwich, but I should have probably ordered pizza. It looked good. My sandwich was fine enough. The place was pretty busy but we got a table without a problem.

I couldn't believe it - 'Sorry we don't serve coffee' - in a pizza restaurant! The beverages are limited to beers and non-alcoholic soft drinks. The meal was adequate - nothing wrong in any way, but nothing exceptional. Service was quick and polite. The restroom (gents) was a mess with soggy paper towels on the floor and a large unpleasant puddle... More

After 4 pizza-less days in CA, my kids (9 and 11) finally demanded pizza. I looked around for a place not too far from our hotel and found the Pitfire. The place is unpretentious and simple. They have a bunch of salads and pastas in addition to pizza. You go up to the counter and place your order which we... More

We ordered the folded chicken pesto pizza, the pepperoni and a chopped salad. All were fantastic. I have had my share of pizza from Italian (original) to stylish Cali pizza and this was a bit of the stylish kind, but the true flavors of a well made original italian. The place was hoping and all of the food looked delicious... More

This is obviously a hangout for locals - and a great little place for those staying at the Doubletree and other hotels in Little Tokyo/Downtown. It is warm, cozy, great craft brews on tap, and great pizza! We also tried the pasta and chicken meatballs. If I had to do it again, I would avoid the chicken meatballs, but the... More

After an event at the Independent Theater, a group of us walked up to Pitfire Pizza. The place was welcoming, busy but not crowded with concrete floors, open kitchen and a nice long bar you can choose to sit at. We ordered: HEIRLOOM TOMATO PIE $10 Local Heirloom Tomatoes / Local Ricotta / Cherry Tomato Salad / Sweet Basil PITFIRE... More

I had a "Be an artist" pizza last night carry out and it was quite good. The crust was nice and crispy but not overdone and the toppings excellent. They had a Breury night the following night that I decided to check out and also have some pasta. The beer was top notch local brew but the spaghetti with chicken... More
