My husband and I live in Orange County but frequently head up to Los Angeles to eat because there are so many restaurants. A friend who lives in the neighborhood suggested we head to Masa for the best pizza. Since my husband and I love deep dish pizza, we immediately put Masa on our radar. We ordered a simple pepperoni... More

As a former Chicagoan I'm very selective about deep dish pizza. This place truly holds it's own. It's really Chicago deep dish pizza! It's a mom & pop place so get in early or you will definitely have to wait but it's so worth it! The pizza takes 45 minutes to bake but you will be happy you waited. I've... More

Man, oh, man! Deep dish pizza in LA!?! Amazing. I love how the cheese is stringy just how cheese on pizza should be. I also tried the bread pudding and man, oh, man the portion is huge! It has a little bit of caramel, chocolate, with warm mushiness. The taste is amazing, I have no complaints here on service. The... More

I used to live round the corner and would walk over for brunch every single weekend, sometimes twice. It's brilliant for dinner, too — I always took visiting out of towners. I moved to the other side of the word and I miss it so much.

Love to go to Masa for many reasons! Because there is usually a wait on weekends, we get to put on our name on the list then go across the street to a nifty bar and cool our heels. The pizza is magnificent - we get the classic veggie. The beer selection is fab and the servers are all genuine... More

From time to time, we get into the Echo Park area but have always been stuck eating in the same coffee shop. Tonight we decided to take a chance on something different, and boy, are we glad we did. While waiting for our deep-dish pizza (which we were told is their specialty), we split a fantastic Caesar salad. The single... More

great place for hanging out. Coffee incredible. Service could be better. Gets frenetic at times. Food is good - varied menu vegetarians dream. Have wonderful breakfasts - lunches also. Never been there for dinner - but hear it is awesome as well.

The deep dish pizza was way under done and the manager was very condescending and weird about it. "This is how deep dish pizza is" She refused to put it back in the oven or even let us take it home to properly bake it. We left hungry and pissed off after waiting an hour for nothing. I will not...
