i am spoiled when it comes to sushi. The sushi at Katsuya is average, but its Vine and Hollywood location, situated between W Hollywood and Besso, is absolutely amazing and the place is always packed with pretty people every time i was there. Definitely the place to be if you are in Hollywood. p.s. the drink menu is great!

Although still buzzing with energy, Katusya disappoints on several levels. We booked on open table and noted it was a wedding anniversary, asked for a romantic table. We were seated in a ok location but no mention was ever made about our anniversary. Missed opportunity to let customers know they actually read open table bookings. The sushi was uninspired, the... One of my favorite spots for Happy Hour & Sushi! Katsuya's white grapefruit Martini is just TOO good! The ambience is perfect! And the restaurant itself is so chic! Definitely check them out if you're in Hollywood!

The food is outstanding. There are some special dishes - like the deep fried small shrimp in a sweet sauce- that are different and tasty as well. I didn't care for their cocktails but others in my group did. Service is superb and friendly. It's a little pricey. Great place for a special celebration. In my case it was my... More

Located on Hollywood Blvd, It's considered one of the best restaurant in LA. The food is really good, the service is great and the staff friendly. The atmosphere and ambience are really nice. The only not positive point: too much crowd (was Saturday evening)

Good solid Japanese, but not worth a trip unless you are close by. I had better sushi in many a places in NYC, California and London.
