Food is great. Service is excellent. Very nice experience in Holllywood . They have a vallet parking which is very much needed.

I picked this restaurant based on a local friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. Surprising glam decor as you come into the restaurant. The sushi bar where you could see how food is prepared was quite fascinating. The food was incredible, I had their lobster, which, indeed, was cooked to perfection. The cooks greet everybody that comes into the... More

Waitress was extremely helpful with helping us choose a range of dishes. Tried albacore for the first time (not a fish common in restaurants in Australia) and it was delicious. Miso marinated black cod and albacore sashimi were some of the stand outs!

We went to Katsuya because of a great experience in Miami. Food was outstanding in both locations. We had both sushi and a teriyaki chicken. The cucumber side did his my kids favorite. The Hollywood location is very loud. We were there on a weekend night and there were a lot of large parties. The ceiling is low and there... More

Overpriced sushi in a starkly designed (pun intended) restaurant. Food is good though so, if you don't mind overpaying, go ahead.

We started with lobster rolls and the edamame. Both were delicious but the lobster roll was amazing. Then I had the tasting menu. A little expensive but well worth it. If you are in the area you must go to Katsuya.

We wanted a quick dinner so we sat at the sushi bar. It's a beautiful contemporary restaurant. Enjoyed watching the various chefs create all different kinds of sushi. The crunchy corn and shrimp sushi was amazing. Not your typical sushi. We also shared the fillet.... It was perfect! Our waiter was great, friendly, and the service was great. It's a... More

My wife and I ate a late lunch here after checking the tripadvisor reviews. We were excited for some good sushi and were not disappointed! The restaurant was not busy at about 1:30, so we were seated right away. Unfortunately, some of the seating is a bit crowded... We were seated next to (like, literally 'next to') a couple of... More

This place was ok for sushi. We got there about 9 pm; place was crowded (as expected on a Saturday night). Sushi and sashimi were ok - nothing to write home about. Our waiter was good - attentive and helpful. If you're looking for a Hollywood experience, I'd go here. If you're going for good sushi, go someplace else.

Sat at the bar since it was still early in the evening, and enjoyed the staff making tremendous creations in front of us. The Corn Crunch roll is unique and spectacular. The Wagyu tenderloin melted in your mouth, and the accompanying sauce had just the right hint of soy and garlic. Am attaching a photo of the Corn Crunch roll.... More
