Stylish, lively and delicious!

This location has great decor, trendy people and a lively atmosphere. We sat at the sushi bar and got to experience the chefs creating their delicious masterpieces. We ordered the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, the Corn Crunch Roll, the Rock Shrimp Tempura Roll and the Wagyu Fried Rice. Everything... read more

I took the wife for dinner before a play. The restaurant is in a very good location Hollywood and Vine. I was very excited to try their food. I ordered their tasting menu $95. I could of eaten 3 as there was not much food, however what I did taste was very good. The black cod was exceptional. The mood... More

My wife, 2 daughters and I had an early dinner on a Saturday night. We took a small plates approach in order to enjoy as much variety as possible. We had a hard time agreeing on favorites, but only because everything was so good. Yellowtail tuna, corn crunch and waygu fried rice were awesome. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Ok, so we have been eating at other branches of Katsuya for many years. We had a party of six and decided to go to the Hollywood location, knowing that the prices are way over the top and the place tends to be a scene. We were greeted very warmly by multiple hosts and were ushered to our table in... More

Had a wonderful time dining with our family! Truly it was the best sushi. You definitely have to call in advance because lots of important people tend to choose this restaurant.

Food was good, but go early,as this place. Gets very busy and noisy. The sushi, sashimi, and cod are very good.

Great location on Hollywood Blvd; very nice for a group dinner or a romantic evening as a couple. Great early bird specials. Be careful when you are seated, you will be served sake and charged for it. If you don't want it, tell your server as soon as he/she tries to put it on the table. The Lobster Dynamite is... More

Distracting decor but good food. Sushi restaurant par with most others but more expensive. Tried it because they gave a discount for theater goers. Good service and friendly wait staff. We always try to patronize diferent restaurants so it was worth going to try it out.

Wow, yum is all I have to say for this. We had the side of brussel sprouts and spicy edamame with some amazing hand crafted drinks to get started and it was over the top good. The service was amazing and the rock shrimp roll rocked it!! I'll be back for sure, thank you.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
