Best Pizza in L.A.!

Absolutely loved this little place! We just got lucky in finding it and it truly lived up to the reviews. The pesto pizza was my favorite but the Frances was also really good. Definitely a crowd pleaser.

WOW. Now go to the opposite direction of WOW, and then go further. Their "pizza" is so nasty and gross. The mozzarella is disgusting, the pizza dough is heavy and simply not done properly. One of the worst "pizza" I've ever eaten.

Ok so just got to los Angeles and we were staying near by and decided to try Vito's well the menu states he was inspired by his Nonie and how much love goes into his cooking Not True if you are going to order pizza only the eggplant, the sauce all was awful this seems to happens a lot with Italian... It is a great option for when you want a traditional NY Style big Pizza pie with slices to share- they have they basic key ingredients- a great crunchy crust with a good chew, simple fresh tomato sauce and just enough fresh cheese- I prefer it plain but they have any topping you can desire- not fancy but Pizza doesn't... The pizza was very good! The sitting area is small but we liked it anyway. The stafd is friendly and the restaurant smells good!

Other reviewers say it was expensive but I didn't think so. The slice is LARGE and it's worth it. This restaurant reminds me of Fellini's in ATL. The toppings are similar, the doneness of the crust is similar, the price - per slice plus extra for each additional topping - is also similar, the same LARGE size. (Fellini’s is #1... More

You know you are the best when its only available your way. At Vito's they only have size large, whether it is a slice or a pie. And it's expensive. I love it and so will you. It is best to park on the street (the parking lot was striped by a guy from Tokyo). They are open late, for... More

I really miss good NY/NJ pizza since moving to the South. While visiting LA, I gave Vito's a try. They did not disappoint. The crust was crisp and tasty, the cheese/sauce combo just right and the mushrooms topped off a delicious pie. Won't you please open Vito's II in Chapel Hill, NC? Pretty please?!? :-)

Not much of a venue to eat at. The kitchen and serving counter dominates the room. But OK for a quick slice. I use their delivery service, which works well. The food is consistently good and, if there's a problem, they fix it. Night and day compared to the factory pizzas. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients... More

I have eaten pizza all over the US and in Europe, China, and S. Africa. The pesto pizza I ate at Vito's was the best pizza I have ever had. I'm not making comparisons to different styles of pizza, and people have different preferences. Vito's had a thin crust that was perfectly crisp, and the fresh mozzarella on the top... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
