Like being in a tree house, a VERY expensive one

$31 martini? Yes. The atmosphere was magical and the food, while expensive was above average. I think I would go back for a glass of house wine (if there is such a thing) and an ap.

I hadn't been to Cliff's Edge in a number of years and today was just driving by and decided to stop in for brunch. Even though it was Mother's Day, we had no problem getting a table. The service was great, friendly and courteous waiters - NOT trying to impress us by wanting to be a movie star - like... More

We dined on a very busy Saturday night, feeling fortunate we'd been able to secure a 7:30 reservation. Aside from a somewhat spacey waitperson, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We started with cocktails--a rather pricey Rosa Gringa and La Chinita--followed by appetizers and entrees. We couldn't pass up the English peas, which were a delightful melange of peas, snap peas,... We went with a small group--setting is in a weird location but actual restaurant is lovely. Good wine list. Very good service. Now for the actual food: very few entree choices--and the vegetarian dish was some kind of cauliflower baked with GRANOLA, raisins, and curry (could not taste the curry)--Totally inedible. Prior to ordering I asked if I could have... More

We were lucky enough that while visiting friends in south bay took us up to see friends in Silver lake that had made reservations for here. From the moment you walk in, its cozy, warm, and just has a good aura about it. We drank wine, ordered many appies, ate cheese, and as the main course enjoyed the steak. Now... More

Great design (rough wood, slightly dark, candles). We had fish, salt and an large steak for two. The steak had a great crust, was soft and perfectly grilled. Mouth watering. The fish came on a delicious puree. It was so great that I forget to make notes of the details. Great evening, great cooking.

We really were pleasantly surprised with the food here. We were running quite late for our meal and the staff were very understanding and held our table until we got there. The vibe in the bar inside was cosy and the main restaurant in the back (garden area) was beautiful with external heaters and blankets. The menu is unusual but... More

This was by far my worst restaurant experience. I told the waiter I was allergic to dairy. They delivered bread and I asked if it contained dairy. A server said no so I began to eat it. He came back later and said that it was made with cheese. Then said sorry very casually. Then they delivered my fish on... More

a very cool location and layout for the restaurant. Service was fine but the menu was limited and the portions were tiny. The food was well prepared but overall the portion sizes made the meal a disappointment

Threw a baby shower at this restaurant and it was perfect! From the food, to the service. The outdoor dining is perfect for any occasion. I had the truffle fries and chicken and waffles. I am still craving that brunch 3 weeks later!
