Amazing Outdoor Eatery

Taken there for Sunday brunch by local friends. Very busy and we had to wait a while to be seated despite having reservations. An unusual and charming courtyard filled with bamboo. Buzzing atmosphere. Standard brunch fare but well cooked and presented. Very efficient and friendly servers.

I haven't been to Cliff's Edge for years. I always loved the romantic patio, but the food left something to be desired. However, I recently had heard good things about the current chef and decided to try it for a family meal with out of town relatives. What a wonderful surprise! Not only were they able to seat a party... More

Had dinner with friends for the holidays, and had a lovely time. The chef is new, and has created a beautiful menu. We all tried a little of everything, but the Cote de Boeuf was amazing! The deck seating was softly lit, and fun to dine in. Reservations are recommended. Restaurant is hidden on the corner, but look for the... More

Upscale Bistro type restaurant with excellent service and good food. Limited valet parking available or hunt out a spot in the surrounding neighborhood. Outside eating area well heated by heaters in the cold December weather.

Lovely atmosphere. Like dining in a treehouse, very romantic. Unfortunately that is where the fantasy comes to an end. The service is horrible and the food is marginal at best after waiting forever to get a cocktail and forever to get our food it all comes together appetizers soup salad entree all cold horrible experience

Spent an evening here with friends from Silverlake and it was an absolute hidden gem! No sign so would not find it it it wasn't for our friends. When we opened the doors and got inside it was just amazing. Cool interior with an outside part where we sat. Wonderful service and great food. A bit pricy but worth the... More

Me and my husband decided to spend the last night of our US holiday at Cliffs Edge. We had a great three course meal but unfortunately the visit was a little bit tainted by our waitor who probably said no more than 100 words to us the whole night. He looked uninterested, answered my questions about the courses with a... More

It is a little hard to locate, but it's like walking into a Balinese tropical garden, with a gorgeous patio area surrounded by bamboo. We went for brunch on a Sunday and the place was packed out. I had eggs benedict and a blood orange mimosa and would highly recommend both. Although, to be honest I could have eaten everything... More

This is a hard place to find because the sign in front is well hidden. But what a surprise when you enter. First of all you enter to the outside, I know that's strange. But the majority of the restaurant is out of doors. Not to worry. There are ample heat lamps available and the cover over the top makes... More

once you've found the place you will be enchanted by the setting. indoor or outdoor dining spaces have been beautifully furnished with a rustic feel. you may come for the ambience but will stay for the food. one of the standout meals of my LA trip. fresh, seasonal and providence driven. if these ingredients are important to you then you...
