Bustling and friendly

This place really hit the spot with my family. The pasta dishes don't break new boundaries but were freshly prepared and tasty. We popped in for an early dinner on a hot day. One of us ordered the fettuccine alfredo - flavor was superb. The other ordered a cobb salad - beautifully presented and delicioso! Nice cold white wine to complement both. Friendly and helpful wait staff.

My wife and I walked here from our hotel and were very pleased. We sat outside and watched the cars and people pass while enjoying excellent Italian food.

Came here with my daughters while we were staying at the Sportsmen's Lodge, and it turned out to be their favourite restaurant of our week in LA! It's good quality straightforward Italian food, with friendly and welcoming service. Recommended.

A friend was staying at the Sportman's Lodge so we went to Il Tramezzino for Sunday lunch- just 3 blocks away. When we arrived at 12:45pm there were vacant tables when we left after 2pm there was a line of people waiting to be seated. We both ordered the arugula salad with goat cheese, strawberries, and walnuts- also had some... More

This is a fine place for an informal meal. Sandwiches are good. I had the pasta one night but didn't on another occasion when I realized that all the pastas seemed to have the same sauce, just with different combinations of additions. I'd expect a little more variety in an Italian restaurant. There's a comfortable outdoor shaded area that comprises... More

I was impressed my husband and I both ordered the sausage fettuccini with roasted red peppers in a cream sauce and added mushrooms. It was delicious!!!. We were a table of 9 seated outside with heated lamps for comfort. Some had the huge salads and said they were excellent. Alicia ordered the meatballs and spaghetti I rate it as a... More

This is our favorite place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Absolutely wonderful staff, food, price and location. We've been coming to this location regularly since it opened. Their salads, sandwiches and just about any breakfast item are great. They also make a good cup of coffe and great cappuccino for those wanting something other than Starbucks. Also wonderful spot for... More

Il trameszzino has amazing salads and paninis! The chicken special is their most famous panini, and their chopped salads are great! The have a dessert with nutella (and fruit if you want) that is to die for!!!

I love this place. I have dined at all 3 locations and have never been disappointed - I like the Tarzana location the best though. Has great outdoor seating and prompt service. My menu favorites: Veg. # 1, Pasta Milano, and the Croissant Nutella with Bananas!!! mmmmmm goood!
