My family and I ate dinner at the Gaffey Street Diner in July 2014, and we all really enjoyed our meal. We eat at Gaffey Street Diner every July where we meet friends for breakfast before we head off to an event. We love the food, it's all really good. Portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The decor... More

My girlfriend and I wanted to try someplace new, so we Yelped this place and headed there. My first impression wasn't that good: The parking lot is small, poorly surfaced, and not level. Most of the customers were parked in the neighboring dirt lot, which looked like an even worse option. It was only when we walked past the side... More

This is a diner. People unfamiliar with true diners, don't understand why they came to be. These are the food establishments created to serve the working man (truckers, longshoreman, shift workers, etc) the food is heavy, meant to sustain these clients for a long period of time. Don't be the hipster dufus that goes there to find some picture perfect,... More

I had no idea is was a TripleD place. I yelped it, and saw the great pictures of the food. My BF lives 10 minutes from this place, and we never knew it. Before the food, we ordered coffee, which my cup arrived cracked. Lucky my server noticed it, and took it away. Then I poured "cream" in my coffee,... More

Went to this diner for breakfast after seeing it on tripadvisor. We are not familiar with many restaurants in the area, so I looked for one while in the car. The breakfast was very good, but typical. I had eggs, sausage, and a pancakes. The serving size is rather large, especially the pancakes. They were tasty, so I took 1/2... More

Ok we were drawn in because this restaurant was on TV. The portions were large the food pretty much tasteless. I had a Chorizo omelet. It was simply scrambled chorizo and eggs folded in to an Omelet LIKE pile. The home potatoes were spice less. Staff was friendly but common man just because Guy ate here it does not make... More

We ate at this restaurant on a weekday morning and it had a small amount of diners during the time of our visit. The menu has a nice selection for any palate. When our food arrived, we were shocked at how monstrously huge the portions were. Regarding the taste of the food, we felt it was mediocre at best. The... More

Lots of food, simple and clean environment. The food was just okay - but if you are going to quantity rather than quality, this is the place to go.
