Favorite Local Spot

Very good food and an excellent selection of wines by the glass. Patio seating is delightful on a warm summer evening. This is our new local favorite!

This is a great restaurant -- from the food, to the service, to the decor. Be sure to make a reservation or be prepared for a wait. Our party of 4 decided to start with some appetizers to share. We had the Kale Salad, which was literally the best I've ever tasted. We also had the Burrata with Beets, which... More

Great place. Good patio. On a busy street but feels quiet. Lots of good stuff on the menu. Sit inside or on out. Very clean.

The Larchmont has become our go-to neighborhood restaurant. Mainly for the kale salad. It is extraordinary. Big enough to share. But there are a lot of other reasons to come to The Larchmont. The food is excellent. The burgers and especially the fries, the lamb, the halibut, the octopus salad, the scallops, the fresh soups of the day, I could... More

The Larchmont is in a beautiful, large craftsman house with indoor and outdoor seating. I'v'e only been here for lunch and the options will fit almost any dietary restrictions. Their salads are terrific. Today I had their tuna nicoise special. Their burger is terrific too. There's something for every taste here. Often a hangout for celebrities, it's a great place... More

We dined here on a Friday night. I really liked the ambiance, it reminds of dining in the Hamptons. We sat outside under heat lamps (LA people think its cold when its in the 50s, lol) The service was great as well

This is a small neighborhood restaurant that takes their cooking seriously. It's in a former house so feels small and comfortable. I had the duck comfit which was cooked perfectly and my dinner companion had the flattened chicken (to which the kitchen adds truffle oil--not the traditional sage/garlic recipe Campanile perfected). The bar has some craft cocktails ( I had... More

Even if you do not like grilled baby octopus, consider ordering the salad without the little critters. The salad and its dressing are that good! We also had bruschetta and a pasta dish that were both best of breed. Service was prompt, friendly, and fun. Good wine and cocktails. And a lovely decor. Highly recommended!

Great food, thoughtfully cooked and presented. Colin, our waiter, was perfect. Attentive, not intrusive. We were hosting friends from abroad who were impressed. Nice evening.
