The caprese salad was beautiful and delicious. Great wine list, excellent service. The pizza was to die for. I was very happy with my pizzetta with olive oil sauce and amazing gourmet toppings. It was much better than a more traditional slice that I tried that a friend ordered. My friends ordered the mixed greens salad and were disappointed. I... more

I love the tomato pizza so much that I get cravings for it! Thin crust, real Italian-style pizzas with fresh ingredients...it doesn't get any better! Dining companion ordered, and adored, the clam pizza. The white bean bruschetta is also fabulous. LA needs more places like Mozza!! more

My husband and I have eaten a lot of pizza in Los Angeles, but this is by far the best! It is easiest to show up and wait for a seat at the bar (you get to see the cooks in action). If there is a wait for the bar, you can head over to Osteria Mozza for a drink.... more

Enjoyed the atmosphere (urban hip as someone else wrote) of the room, our server was great, and the food was excellent too. But for the two of us, it was $155 w/tax/tip. Had two starters, the fried squash blossoms and the meatballs(3) which were both superb ($12 each), then a mediocre Tricolore salad. We chose two pizzas, the fennel sausage... more

Garlic bread was amazing-- which is unusual. Caprese salad was excellent. Pizza was very good and interesting. Took 3 weeks to get a table-- so I had pretty high hopes for the pizza and turned out to be just good pizza. Not the be all, end all of pizza. I can think of several other pizza places where the pizza... more

Great pizza. I started with the salad, it was fresh and a perfect starter. I wanted to try the squash blossom, but they were out. :( It can be hard to get a table at times but is definitely worth the effort. more

After reading a few reviews on TA I figured that this restaurant would be worth a visit during our 4 day stay in Los Angeles. Since my boyfriend and I did not have reservations, we were told that we'd have to wait 20-25 minutes and that they wouldn't be able to get us a table, but seats by the bar.... more

My Wife, her best friend, and I ate at Mozza Friday night. It was very good pizza and the atmosphere was terrific. The only glitch was we waited at our table 45 minutes to eat(this after initially being told they were out of one of the ingredients of my order-speck), and probably another 30 after we ate to get our... more

Have been many times since it opened and in many configurations, from lunch alone at bar to large parties at dinner. Pizza is very good, especially for LA, but it is not as good as it was when Nancy Silverton was making them. She has moved next door to the Osteria. Whoever took over is a little heavy handed with... more
