Nicely done!

We came specifically for the pizza after having many average pies around town. I got the plain pie with no basil and it tasted very good. It isn't the best I've had but by LA standards it was pretty good. I would return but arrive earlier since it gets quite busy.

I am used to Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich and their extraordinary repertoire of restaurants. Molto Italiano, all the way. And brilliant--Otto and Babbo barely a block away from where I live in Manhattan. But Mozza Pizzeria, in the far reaches of Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles is uniquely 'Brooklyn' in its approach to pizza. Thick, crunchy, chewy crust surrounds... More

Had a return visit to Pizzeria Mozza for a recent dinner. We ordered an appetizer of the Meatballs and Crispy Goat Cheese. The meatball dish arrived with 3 small meatballs that were not at all over cooked and a nice marina sauce and not bad for $12. On the other hand the Crispy Goat Cheese priced at $11 was a... More

If you lie Pizza then you have to go here. Great service, fantastic buzz to the place. Pricing was very reasonable. Add this to your list as it's well worth it!

The pizza here is great and will most likely meet your high expectations. It's the Neapolitan kind, with good, crispy crust and fresh, fancy ingredients. Definitely among the best pizzas I've had. It's reasonably priced too, from approx $15 - 20 - it could be worse for a fancy, highly-rated restaurant. On the other hand, the appetizer portions were small... More

I live in Los Angeles and this is one of my favorite places to go when I can get a reservation. This is a very busy place. The food is exceptional. The meat balls are delicious. The pizzas wonderful, though some ingredients I have to look up on my phone to know what they are. The service is okay. Takes... More

Everything is so fresh and wonderfully done. The salads are fresh, delicious and usually has a different take on it. We had the most wonderful anchovy/garlic/parm dressing lightly dressed on farm fresh romaine. The burrata caprese salad was also incredible. We got four pizzas, the crust is so incredible, yeasty, think and crispy. We had the sausage fennel topping, and... More

This place is somewhere you NEED to go if you like a good pizza, our host had fantastic knowledge of the wines and beers, and our server had perfect knowledge of the entire menu. The pizzas have a crispy crust, generously topped but not over the top. Their new pizza has Squash Blossoms on it, something I'd never heard of... More
