Interesting Food Prep by the Master

Ate our Anniversary Lunch here. Interesting and tasty dishes, great service, hip crowd. A winning eating establishment from the orange croc-wearing master of food creation, Mario B. ,

Food and desserts are great, I had the Fennel Sausage pizza and Butterscotch Budino, yum! The restaurant is extra small, tables are too close and it is always super crowded specially on weekends, it is so loud that it is hard to have a conversation any time of conversation. Go, eat and leave.

Started with a unique capresse with pane bianco and magnificent squash blossoms. The sausage pizza was heavenly. Accompanied with a fine local Saison, this place is perfection.

Pizza: dry. Service: horrible. We live close -- but never ever go here. Friends who came in from out-of-town read some reviews and asked to go -- so what were we to do but say of course. The hostess couldn't have been nicer. The wait staff? Not so much. We all decided we had much better food and service at... More

Took me 35 minutes to get here even though my hotel was 5 miles away, but it was well worth it... Everything from the appetizers to the pizza to the drinks were begging to be consumed by all who were waiting on line. I was traveling solo on business so that allowed me to sit at the bar and avoid... More

I've been here a few times and everyone gets pizza of course. I've tried the Rapini pizza which is a little salty because of the anchovies so I'd pass on that next time. However I also tried the Soft Shell Crab which is so delicious. Reminds me of southern cooking. Reservations are highly recommended and if you're looking for a... More

For $20.00 at the bar, which is a better place to sit than the tables, you get a glass of wine, pizza, and dessert. That is almost half off the table price. Go after 1:30pm for lunch and there will be no crowd or wait. Highly recommended.

Have been to the Singpore branch several times, always a treat. But her in LA, the pizza was undercooked, the wine (by the glass) was way too warm, and the espresso was a watery mess. Resting on laurels?

We came specifically for the pizza after having many average pies around town. I got the plain pie with no basil and it tasted very good. It isn't the best I've had but by LA standards it was pretty good. I would return but arrive earlier since it gets quite busy.
