Underwhelming

The food was underwhelming. The fried items were soggy. The pizza was bland. The waitress was unfriendly. Not a place I'd go back to. If you want great pizza go to Gjelina in Venice.

We were delighted to end up near Pizzeria Mozza in LA - and had a fantastic dinner! We started with small plates of delicious chicken liver bruschetta, fried squash blossoms, prawns al forno, and meat balls - then a perfectly dressed Tricolore Salad with Parmigiano- and finally a perfect hand tossed pizza with goat cheese, leeks, scallions, garlic and bacon!... This place is great. The pizza was delicious. My daughter had the white pizza with sausage and I had the goat cheese with leeks and bacon. I am not much of a bacon fan but this was really tasty. My husband had the meat pizza but had pizza envy for mine and our daughter's choices. Valet parking is 10$ which... More

Made a reservation here for 5 of us, but my wife and I were 30 minutes early, and as there is nowhere in the pizzeria to sit, the manager suggested we go next door to Osteria Mozzo for a drink. Great idea and a nice cocktail bar. When the rest of our party arrived he came and got us. The... More

The best pizzas anywhere. I have eaten here many times before but never written a review. They have most complete menu & fantastic staff. Yesterday we had a 4 pm reservation and the place was packed. Advice to anybody planning to go to Mozza is book several weeks in advance. Though I did not sit at the counter yesterday I... More

The best ones: The tricolore salad (with Parmigiano Reggiano & anchovy dressing) and butterscotch Budino (with Maldon Sea Salt & Rosemary Pine Nut Cookies). I used to go there and them were my MUST. The staff is nice and friendly. The prices are reasonable ($$) and the quality is very very good. I really recommend it.

I visited the pizzeria mozza a few days ago, with my children. You need a reservation and if you arrive a little early you can sit before. Among all, i liked the pizza better. The carrots were good but they come with a kind of i don't know.. Sour cream?? That i didn't like but the carrots were delicious. It... More

Meh. I saw that this place was popular on Yelp but didn't think much of it as I wanted to try it and formulate an opinion for myself. The service was not so great; it was busy but they never checked up on our party or filled our waters. Their was somewhat above average in terms of taste and quality.... More

Both our son and his girlfriend are huge fans of Mario Batali, so we planned to take them to celebrate for a special occasion. We were rushed tremendously, and we were there only a bit over an hour. When seating us, the hostess was worried about our fourth person, who was two minutes away parking the car. The hostess seemed... More

Great flavors, Great Service and an interesting menu. This is not a typical pizzeria due to the complex ingredients in all their creations.
