Great food at a very reasonable price

Had lunch here on a workday - we both ordered the Bowery Burger. It's served on an English muffin with your choice of cheese (cheddar, goat cheese, etc) and you can order additional toppings (onion relish, bacon, caramelized onions, etc) for $1.00 more. Fries are an additional cost - approx $5. The... read more

We went straight here to me some relatives after arriving from the Burbank airport. We showed up with our luggage but the staff was kind enough to stash it for us. Great beer and wine list with a lot of new names for me. After dinner and drinks, the fun really started. Someone in my party wouldn't stop ordering shots... More

The Bowery is a perfect little place to grab a bite before or after a show at the Arclight. We tried it for the first time before we hit an early afternoon film. I wanted "real food" before I went to the theater so (1) my stomach wouldn't be rumbling during the film and (2) I wouldn't load up on... More

True to its NYC moniker, The Bowery was a sliver of a restaurant in the heart of Hollywood. Simple, flavorful food, and great atmosphere. This is a place you could hang out and have a few beers or a casual meal. Great destination for both.

So disappointed. We've been wanting to come here for a while and finally did yesterday, we wanted to split a burger and a salad. The burger is $9.50 just by itself. Everything on the side is extra from $1. to $3. No value there and it was OK, not great. As for the NY atmosphere . . . . have... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
