Lobster Rolls and James Brown...

On a muggy, overcast day, we decided to give The Hungry Cat a whirl. I'd heard the Lobster Rolls were ridiculous and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try it. It's DineLA, right? No... not today. Saturdays are for brunch. Lunch is during the week. Oh well. I'm hungry. Food So I got... read more

The food was delicious, we all ordered the fixed menu, which included appetizer main course and a desert. I had watermelon salad, halibut, and chocolate cream. Everything was great. We had read the reviews prior, most everyone said food delicious but small portions,, apparently they listened because the portions were generous. My one complaint was, the drinks are a little... Over the last few months, I have been here a few times with friends and business associates. The shrimp are delicious as is the crabmeat salad. Anything we order is tasty and first rate. It's in a bit of a hidden location which only adds to the experience.

Came here with a friend of mine. We shared a seafood tower for 2 people. It was delicious. Felt the portions of some of the selection could have been a bit different but still left happy. The Bread and the Side Greens were super tasty. The cocktails left me wanting to stay there for hours

Tiny space. Slow service. Small menu. Not tasty. I would go to another place around the area--- there are so many to choose from.

We started with a Tier 1 seafood platter, perfect for the 4 of us. The smoked tuna was my favorite, the blue crab pasta was just ok, and the grilled bass was just a touch overcooked. The $5 side of fries is huge and super tasty.

My friends and I were pleased with everything about our meal. Oysters (and oyster shooters) were fresh and delicious. My favorite cocktail of the evening was the Reanimator - described by our server as well-balanced and refreshing, and it truly was. Service was attentive. The evening specials were irresistible, there was a pork dish that was cooked to perfection and... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
