Gnocchi appetizer. Beef Short Ribs are the very best I've had outside of my Russian uncle's kitchen. Chef Eric Greenspan doesn't match the classic look with his New York mouth...you'll know what I mean when he walks over to your table to talk to you and starts dropping f bombs. The wine was fantastic and I love the atmosphere & live jazz music. Some of the the appetizers we had were delicious, but others were not so great. We had the same issue with the entrees. went here opening weekend and had a horrible experience with incorrect orders, wait time of 2 hours to get main dish, incorrect check total, etc. but would be willing to give the place a 2nd chance since eric greenspan is the place's saving grace. more

This is, hands down, the best new restaurant in Los Angeles. The wait staff is very friendly and an expert at the menu, the bartenders are fantastic and their bar nuts (corn nuts, candied peanuts and wasabi peas) is something I can't stay away from. Flies everywhere - outside and indoors. Inexperienced staff with dirty fingernails. Long black hairs stuck to the bottom of one of the plates. Uninspired menu. I get what they were going for, but this place is a total disaster. Avoid at all costs. more
