This is definitely in my top three for brisket anywhere in the country. The sliced here is the best. I highly recommend the mashed sweet potato which is my favorite, but all of the sides are as good as the brisket. I have been several times now for lunch and dinner. The service is always prompt and friendly.

I'm born and raised in Texas, so I know my bbq. Upon approach to a bbq restaurant you should be able to smell the place before you reach it; not this restaurant. BBQ smoke and smell can penetrate any LA smog. This place thinks by offering all different types of sauces, pile high coleslaw on the tri tip sandwich, fried green... More

I stopped in initially to try the Fried Green Tomatoes which are a favorite of mine. To my chagrin, the Venice location does not carry them, just the West Hollywood location has them. Since I was already there, I ordered the tri-tip sandwich. The waitress asked if I wanted the special which included a side and drink for an addition... More

We have passed by Baby Blues BBQ a few times & decided to stop on our way back to Seal Beach from Union Station. The first thing you notice is the aromas wafting towards your nose, then you get inside & it has a Southern feel to it. Since it was lunch time we each had a lunch special; one... More

this was our last dinner in our US visit and it didn't disappoint. Service was great and BBQ are tender juicy! Yummy Indeed! :) If you're in LA, don't miss to try this! Better be there early or you'll have to wait long to be seated.. :)

The Big Blue is an excellent sampler that feeds two adults. We had it with the brisket, pulled pork (no sauce), and Texas beef rib ($9.95 extra) and the sides were collared greens and mashed sweet potatoes. The meat was all tender and tasty and juicy. You could add more BBQ sauce for more flavor but really when you have... More

As someone else said, these guys know how to do BBQ! I ordered brisket and husband ordered pulled pork and decided to share. Portions didn't look like much when they arrived but the little bowls hold a deceiving amount of meat! Tasty and tender. I like the fact you have a choice of sauces on the table rather than having... This place has tons of ambiance. If you get scared off easily by run-down places, this likely isn't for you, but I personally loved the decor. The food came quickly, the service was prompt, the portion sizes were large and everything tasted good overall. Some items were a little dry, but the taste was good. I would go back if... More

This place knows BBQ. Their ribs; memphis and baby back are to die for. They serve kool aid! which is a winner for me. The only thing I'm not too happy about is their lines... Since it's popular you're going to have to wait to eat. Especially days like father's day! Totally worth the wait tho... You can't get bbq... More
