Stayed at the Samesun which is just above Danny's and was glad we had it so close by. The food was great and so was the friendly staff! Loved the salmon Ceaser salad!

We had breakfast here as recommended but I will say the service was not great and the food just OK. Tried and forgotten

We popped in here for a quick drink on our way back to our hotel after spending a lovely morning at Venice Beach. The bar man was slow to serve us as he was busy chatting to two pretty young women. He eventually served us, but was not happy when we asked questions about the drinks available, or when we... More

I stopped by here a few times, just to escape the heat of the boardwalk, and to sit and have a cold cider. The service is good and they have a good menu, including a breakfast menu, but I didn't eat, so can't comment on that, but the cider is cold and delicious. A chilled out place to sit back... More

Escape the craziness of Venice Beach at Danny's. Set down a side street, they offer generous breakfasts and good service. Still some people watching from here but it is a quieter more family friendly option!

Great place for lunch after walking Venice Beach. Good food, good beer, clean restrooms... they give you a code, so there is no public loony tunes allowed in. I had the Fish n' Chips with a Stone IPA.

This food was really good and the staff friendly..It was a little weird to have to get a key pad code for the bathroom.

My wife and I went for happy hour.....The bar tender "LUPE" was distracted the whole time we were there...I think his whole family was at the bar...They were out of the only thing we wanted....Chicken Wings.....REALLY??? You would think a simple item like that would be a no brainer. Then after being served Chicken Tenders with buffalo sauce.....very average, some... More

The chewiest calamari ever. Quickly replaced with an alternative dish. Shame they tried to charge us for both. The waitress said there was no way she would have let us pay for both... EVIDENTLY NOT THE CASE! Service varied between lightening quick (trying to clear dishes away before we'd finished) and dismally slow(when we tried to pay). I do hope... More
