1st time in Venice beach, we stopped here for cocktails and fried calamari. The decor is very eclectic, love the old LA pictures on the walls.

Came with my dad for lunch on a vacation to California. Cool atmosphere. Great food. Good service. I got the turkey breast club with avacado and it was fresh and delicious!

Had a light lunch here today. I ordered the beef tacos which were excellent. My partner had chicken and fries; also excellent. Staff were really friendly and the service was really good. Can't fault it!

Lemonade and Sandwich were both great. I had the chance to sit in the mini - terrace on the entrance so that I could enjoy Venice life. Nice personnel

Good food and great atmosphere from day to night! Staff is a lot of fun too! I like the whole dogtown feel you get in the bar, and the live music is fun. Cool murals on the wall and skate art! Great cali beach bar/restaurant right below a great hostel!

Great position, nice people but food was lacking. We had fish and chips which was average, but good size serving, but you should avoid the calamari, which was inedible (with my teeth anyway!)

My family (table for five) walked in and out of 3 local lunch spots, all of them were rude or hot etc etc, and then we spied Dannys...how can you miss it? A Gorgeous building and super friendly service! "Walk right in!", they said, "lets find you a spot to sit! " Well OKay!! Sounded great! Prices about what you... More

Our family of four entered Danny's for breakfast on our morning trip up for Redondro Beach to Venice and Santa Monica Beach. Great atmosphere, prices and superb service!

Staying in Venice

Neighborhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
