Recently had lunch (five course tasting menu with wine pairing) in their private dining room with friends, and we were completely "wowed", food exceeded all our expectations and each dish was beautifully conceived and executed - top marks!

Unforgettable tastes and exquisite food. I had the time of my life eating here. I are a variety of seafood and all of it had a great taste. Their options of wine were great and the value of the check was worth the investment!

We had a really nice dinner. The service was extremely professional, and the rhubarb dessert was simply delicious. Probably the best dessert I ever had, and I really have a sweet teeth; I could write a book on the topic.

I don't know why but it's been almost 2 years since I've dined at Providence. Perhaps it's because of their draconian rules on bringing and opening one's own wines. When we have so many wine-friendly restaurants today, who needs that kind of B.S.? Anyhow, this week we numbered 12, dined in a private room with dedicated servers and bussers. Our... More

It's probably a little presumptuous for me, an ordinary diner, to review a two-star Michelin restaurant ... oh well! It's not located on a particularly impressive stretch of Melrose Avenue and we almost missed it. Inside, it is modern and sophisticated, but subtle and comfortable. The service was perfect ... in fact, it ties that at Trotter's, which was our... More

One of the best restaurants in LA. We got the Chef's table from where you can watch employees prepare the food. The quality of Food, presentation and Service were excellent. There was a great choice of Food or you can have a degustation menu. You should select yourself the wine to go with your menu.

I think Providence is overrated. I came here for my bf's birthday. The food was okay, nothing outstanding and service was average. For the price I'm paying, I expect my water to be filled without me asking 3x. The restaurant was half empty when we went, so busy was not an excuse. They printed my bf's name on the menu... More

We had the Chefs tasting menu with wine paring.Ever thing was very nice but nothing was out standing. Cannot compare to Paris or New York or for that matter Singapore's best restaurants. Have to say the sommelier was the BEST we have ever had.... Much better places to eat for 1/2 or 1/4 the price. Will try somewhere else next... More

My wife and I eat out a lot but never at places this fancy. This was a once-in-a-lifetime thing for us and it completely surpassed our expectations and was well worth the many hundreds of dollars we spent. FOOD: We had the 9-course tasting menu, with wine, which was phenomenal. Nine+ dishes, each expertly prepared, with their own half-glass of... More

Chef's tasting menu was great. The Turbot for 2 was well worth the supplement charge. Service was spot on as well.
