My wife and I heard good things about Providence, so we went to dinner there this weekend. Overall, the service and quality of food were excellent but a few things surprised me for a 5-Star: 1) Spirits Selection- We arrived early so we went to the bar for a drink. They had a limited selection of premium spirits. Also, when... More

The food here was incredible, one of the best meals we have ever had. The service was great. Very fine dining. Expensive but definitely worth it.

First, the tables are well spaced apart for privacy. Second, there is lots of fabric to absorb sound, so the conversation with people at your table is easy to hear. Third, the waiters wear classy suits and ties - which adds to the elegance of this white linen tablecloth, very special space. Already impressed and we hadn't even ordered yet,... More

My daughter and I dined at Providence tonight and we had an amazing dinner. This consisted of a 9 course meal but with amuse bouche, it ended to being about 12. We were very full at the end of dinner and definitely worth every penny we spent! We had the Tasting Menu which consisted of the following dishes: * mojito,... More

We have now dined at Providence 2 times. Both times we ordered the chef's multiple course menue. Be prepared to be dazzled… and take your time. The location is not good, but it'e definitely worth the journey.

Multiple courses, amazing tidbits, fine dining. For three people with two drinks and a bottle of wine and the tasting menu (not wine pairing)... $1300.

Our first time and it was a fantastic experience. We had the Signature Menu ($190/$275 with wine) with the wine pairing. The service was outstanding and very attentive. The focus of the chef is seafood with various sauces or tasty food with spectacular flavors that compliment the seafood. No rush, took almost 3 hours for the four of us. Portions... More

Wasn't sure what to expect apart from great food. We booked for lunch so turned up in shorts which was definitely under-dressed for this place, but were not made to feel out of place. Opted for the tasting menu and was so happy we did. The food was immaculately executed and presentation was flawless. Definitely not the cheapest lunch we'll... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
