Proper Sundaes

It is lovely to stroll around the store with Disney toys and be able to stop for a proper Ghirardelli sundae, prepared correctly. Lovely meet and greet at the door. So wished we see there for a movie too!

I printed some coupons at our hotel and they were expired. They would not honor them 3 days past expire date. Had hot chocolate to warm up on a very cold and rainy day. It was really good chocolate but very expensive.

While the adjoining El Capitan Theater is a postcard of the past, this is a Disney Store with an ice cream stand in it. It was fun to look through, but not remarkable or noteworthy.

This is a cute little shop right next to the Disney movie theater in Hollywood, CA. They have some of the best hot chocolate around. Also a good place to pick up little Disney items if you can't make it over to the parks. In the morning they also serve waffles.

I stopped in here for a Coffee and a look at the Chocolate. The Ice cream Sundaes that we saw being made inspired us to have one as well. I brought 1 for my 2 kids to share. they are pretty big so 1 one enough. Not the cheapest place but the staff are dressed in old fashion clothing and... More

Got ice cream here after watching a flick at El Capitan. The prices are high but it is Disney and is on Hollywood Blvd. They have a huge selection of shakes and malts. About 10 ice cream flavors if you only want a cone. Plus the store is fun to browse. Great.

This store is mainly a Soda Fountain and Ice Cream store with a few Disney toys available. There is a great statue of Mickey at the door where anyone wanting a great photo could sit beside Mickey. Staff were great, I visited with 2 grand daughters and as I use a stick they brought everything to the table. could not... More

I love Disney, and I love ice cream. Why not have both in one location? The hot fudge sundaes and the strawberry milkshakes are so good. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and a great place to sit down, chill out, and write. "Your life should always come with hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry on top." ~Adrienne Posey

This is a nice ice cream stop. If you have small kids that are fans of the latest Disney movies the have special themed sundaes. There was a lot of Disney merchandise to buy- like a mall Disney store. It was really crowded and busy.

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
