A niche, fabulous, surprise that I will visit again and again!

My daughter and I happened upon it last weekend and decided to go in. Oh my gosh, what a surprise! The food was off the hook! I had the best chopped salad, ever. Fresh ingredients, flavor, and great service. My daughter had the blackened Salmon Tacos. Extraordinary! They were packed and now I know... read more

We went on a Friday night -- I ordered the Brie & Apple focaccia sandwich and side salad. It's easy to order...you do so at the counter and they give you a number on a stick to put on your table and the waiter finds you. Super easy. The outdoor and indoor vibe was hipsterish and cool. The sandwich was... More

The food is good and hefty, their Turkey panini and salmon burger is worth the gastronomical investment. Very good quality. I am not very enthused about their ordering process of having to go to a cashier, order and pay, get a number and wait for the serving staff to deliver. It somehow goes against the grain of the ambiance of... More

Alcove Cafe is located in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, in Hipster town. This outdoor cafe is very inviting, with its home conversion to a cafe. Inside the home you order your coffee, pastries, salads, etc. A number is given to you, then you proceed outside to the front patio and find a cozy seat under light wrapped... More

Found this place on-line. It was a bit warm in LA (90+). The food was excellent. Service was quite good but heat didn't help. I would not hold the weather against them. Great bar and very pleasant atmosphere.

Offering good, tasteful food in the alfresco setting made this a pleasant experience. Chairs were uncomfortable but the entire experience (other than chairs) was delightful. Menu offered a superb variety for lunch. Food was a little slow in arriving. Staff was enthusiastic and friendly. A few, easy improvements and this would be a five star revue.

One of our favorite places when visiting Los Angeles each winter. We live on the East Coast and have a condo in WeHo for the winters. We always make it a point to go here at least twice doing our stay and with any guest that may be visiting us ;-) From the time you pull up to the valet... More

The sandwiches were yummy, huge and reasonably priced. Their chocolate was to DIE for (took an assortment for a gathering) and it was all the RAGE for all the women! The cocktail of the day way NOT only cheap for what it was but also a totally different concoction and SUPER yum!
