NEVER AGAIN. First of all, this review is not pointed at the artist that played the venue, Barbara Morrison. Barbara gave a great show. This review is wholly pointed at the Catalina Bar & Grill manager and owner. If I could give minus stars, I would. My wife and I had dinner there tonight. The food was very much over-priced... More

Go for the club atmosphere and top notch jazz. Don't expect fine dining or great wines. But the place and the music is wonderful. Service excellent.

We ordered the "Special of the Day" - Salmon. The fish was undeniably spoiled! When we complained, they questioned as if we didn't know what spoiled fish tasted like. They were extremely slow in replacing the dishes with another entrée. The manager was rude, uncaring and offensive. We were there for a dinner show to see Rachelle Ferrell. The concert/performer... Came to see Steve Tyrell, expected to be impressed by Steve and his gang and was not disappointed, did not expect to be so very pleased by the wait staff, bartender, chef and kitchen staff. The food was very very good, the martini was perfect (so rare, sadly, to find a bartender who can make a martini in the classic... More

For a nightclub this is a cavernous venue. The entire "house" is seated and served dinner in 90 minutes. It is a chaotic experience. The room is stark and dark... There is a $50 cover which is reasonable for some of the great talent appearing. However, the food is expensive and mediocre. The waiters are pleasant but rushed and often... More

I heard that this jazz venue was located elsewhere before and was moved to this location. I found the place a bit large and not very intimate for a jazz club. When I heard that Steve Gadd was playing there, I had to go see this drumming legend. When we got there, they were playing a smooth jazz piece and... More

The guy who claims to be the owner, Dan, is rude and verbally abusive to his customers!!! My son is a student at a local music school and they were having their end of the year student showcase at this place. I called two nights in a row to confirm the time.......well because I have a real job and oh... More

We had the pleasure of seeing jazz vocalist Jane Monheit perform here (accompanied by her trio - piano, bass & drums). The club has a nice and classy atmosphere, friendly and efficient wait staff, pleasing acoustics and good sight-lines. After paying an admission charge, they have a 2 drink or food minimum order expectation for each person. It was well... More
