First Time Having Pho!

I been wanting to try pho for a while, my co-worker is a regular here and she took a group of 4 of us. We got there around 11:35 a.m. on a Wednesday and the place was already busy but luckily we didn't have to wait. When noon rolled around, there was a bit of a line. This was my... read more

Upon approaching this restaurant I was a bit nervous. There is no curbside appeal whatsoever. When we stepped into the restaurant you are hit with this overwhelming smell that I couldn't seem to shake off. I've eaten Pho before and it didn't smell the way this place smelt. It seemed a bit dirty to me and the decor was having... More

Went there because my friend wants to challenge the phozilla. Food is about average but pricey. The phozilla is enormous.

The food is delicious and the stuff are friendly! Make me feel homesick after months of staying in states. Thanks TripAdvisor lead us to here!:)

Normally, I'd give this place 3 stars as I thought the broth for the beef pho was very mediocre. What I didn't expect was the roasted garlic & chili sauce they had on the tables. That stuff was awesome when added to my pho. It also made for a great dipping sauce (mixed with hoisin) for the meat.

This place is a bit of a hole in the wall but the beef broth is to die for, as is the Vietnamese iced coffee. Service is attentive.

The place was full of people when we walked in. My husband and I are pho fanatics. Wanted to try some in China town on vacation. To much surprise not the greatest. The wait staff spoke little English so it was really hard to ask questions. Manager was rude when we wanted to send the summer rolls back. They lacked... More

I had their crispy noodle dish with shrimp, chicken and beef. It was excellent! the serving was huge and i had to take home half of it! the noodles were very crispy and the shrimp, and chicken and beef was great. a very good deal! we found parking on the street. i consider myself a pho snob. i do have high standards for pho. while the broth here was tasty, i've had better. nyc has set the bar high for vietnamese cuisine since there are so many around. pho 87 seemed the best and most "authentic" in LA so i decided to give it a try after an attempt at pho...
