Senor Fish was a favorite Mexican restaurant when it was on First St. and Alameda, in the old Atomic Cafe location. Unfortunately, the property was taken for the Gold Line. Fortunately, Senor Fish has reopened just a few blocks away, at 155 S. Main St., in the new L.A.P.D. Headquarters building. As popular as ever, the lines can be a... More

I used to live in the area and so used to go here frequently. The place used to be excellent, you could get a plate with grilled fish and salad and fries for a good price, and it was delicious! However, that was a few years ago. I recently went back, expecting the same 'ole story and was quite disappointed.... More

I stopped by for dinner and had a shrimp and ceviche tostada. They were great. So much shrimp and ceviche . The food here is always great. They also sell beer. They have a indoor and outdoor eating area.

After a few local friends & family raves, I finally checked it out for myself. My mom ordered a bowl of Menudo that we split which was delicious but the cheese enchiladas we ordered, we sent those back. The enchilada sauce tasted sweet and tomato based, not at all like any enchilada sauce I've had before, even from a can.... More

You order and pay, then they bring your food - could be nice on patio in season. Kale salad with pine nuts, cukes and red onion was excellent bed for grilled fish. Probably the healthiest meal I've eaten while traveling.

A little different every time. Small. Intimate. Outside seating. Good food. Very "lkcal" feel. Nice people. I like the food here. Simple. Small menu. Very... rustic.... don't try to impress a client by taking them here if they are the slightest bit stuffy as they might not enjoy it. If they like good local food and atmosphere they will love... Always try to eat here when I travel in from Boston. Nothing fancy, but awesome fish tacos. Usually get the 3 taco combo, cant go wrong. Nice to sit outside when the weather permits.

My latest visit to this good eatery left mixed feelings. The ceviche tostada was excellent, with ample seafood. The ahi taco also scored well. Big disappointment: the menudo...too greasy with lots of fat. Plenty of patio dining a plus. This dive still has the menu and low prices to warrant future visits.

Recently enlarged to include a bigger patio and an enlarged menu, Señor Fish is a nice place in the neighborhood to dine in the evening. Fish is the specialty of the house. My friends had the sea bass and I had the shrimp tacos. Very good. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. We did not have drinks... More
