Love the atmosphere and the food.

Lobster Thermador is one of my favorite with a side of mushrooms. It opened in 1919 old world Hollywood. The decor is the same and the service is excellent. Great for a special night or special person. Only drawback is they are closed on Sunday and Monday. My compliment to the Chef.

I've a,ways passed this place not knowing if I should go in or not. Then I looked it up and read the history and how my dream man Charlie Chaplin used to dine here frequently and had to try it. The atmosphere is old school cool, just what I like. The food was exceptional. My brother and I were both... More

This is great for a taste of old-time Hollywood. I don't think the interior has changed since I first came here quite a few years ago. Although the staff are newer/younger. The first time I was at Musso & Frank's the staff looked like they were about to keel over from old age. :) This time we had the Porterhouse,... More

Based on the reviews we were expecting much better food and service. We had no problems getting our table and the food and drinks were brought in a good amount of time. The issue was the waiters messed up 3 of our orders and the food was not very good at all. My prime rib was half fat and so... More

The Musso and Frank is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood, having opened in 1919. It is also a classic quality restaurant, with experienced waiters who are friendly and charming, but have a certain old time elegance, and a menu selection that includes perfectly made cocktails. The grill is manned by a chef who has been here for 39 years. You... More

The food was excellent for the price we paid. The space, however, is very loud to eat in. We had steaks, pasta and desserts, everything was very good and worth the money.

... we were so lucky that our friends who were showing us around Hollywood made special arrangements for us to visit for a quick cocktail. They are world travelers and to have them insist that we visit -- that's saying a lot. It did NOT disappoint. The cocktails were perfectly executed and served. Old school and with panache. We loved... More

This is a (the?) quintessential American steakhouse from decor, staff and fare. This is the place where you can get classic steaks, fantastic sides, seafood, pasta and desserts. We were a party of friends and out-of-towners enjoying a great meal. The chef is a master griller and my rare fillet mignon was tender, unctuous and cooked to perfection. Sides of... More

Beautiful restaurant and bar. The wine list had plenty of choices for "by the glass" drinking and the montepulciano was the perfect taste for my prime rib. The prime rib piece is huge so my friend and I split the plate. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only thing that I did not like was that I ordered a... More

When you enter Musso &Frank Grill you are walking right back into the heyday of Hollywood. The bar is where William Faulkner and Raymond Chandler drank during their days as screenwriters and when you order a martini to start with you see why.Not only is theirs the very best Martini in town it comes with a "top off" an elegant,...
