Out of this world staff

The folks who serve you have all been there for ages or are second or even third generation. Musso and Frank is a landmark for LA and the food is consistent and the martini is perfection.

We loved this place. We had lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon when it wasn't crowded. The waiter was "seasoned" and was probably there for the past 40 years. Service was friendly, fast and funny. I ordered a whiskey on the rocks and got a double. Nice. My French dip sandwich was very good and the homemade chips were excellent.... More

I finally got to Musso & Frank's after hearing about it for the last 50 years. After a matinee at the Pantages we walked the 12 city blocks along the stars at Hollywood Blvd. to the restaurant. Seated at 4:00 on a Sunday (they are trying Sunday openings now starting at 4:00) we were welcomed and seated in a booth... More

After a quick trip into Hollywood today, lunchtime beckoned. My husband immediately voted for Musso & Frank's, especially since it has been a few years since we've been there. Well, the good news is that the food is still as delicious as it always was, the service efficient, and the space? Well, it's a step into 1919. The linens are... More

From my fantastic whiskey sour to the salad and the amazing charcoal grilled lamb chops to seeing Hugh Laurie, Musso & Frank never lets me down. Great food, wonderful cocktails and celebrity sightings.

We were stilling along, looking for a place to have dinner and suddenly we found this 100 year old lovely restaurant! The service was as good as the food! I had Calf liver so good as the tears were running and on the other side of the table the steak was almost as tender as the creamed spinach. My Dry... More

Firstly im glad it's still there What an institution and happy it's not been knocked down for a k mart as most places in hollywood have gone to modern development However the food was just so bland and interior whole historic was depressing as were the waiters who needed personality transplants or infusions Wouldn't go back but as I love... Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
