Ambiance of yesteryears...present day prices

Stepping into Musso and Frank Grill transports you back in time. The busy, hectic life that is happening on Hollywood Blvd is muted in the restaurant. Inside, it is quiet, cozy, and laid-back; like you have all the time in the world. After reading their brief history, it is easy to picture... read more

The historical ambience of the Grill didn't make up for the brash treatment by the server. The taste of the food was acceptable, but the experience was ruined for us! I don't recommend putting yourself through it. You may get the same waiter.

This restaurant is a Hollywood tradition that has been around for nearly 100 years. Old school class and style from the moment you enter the door. Extensive menu that features all the usual steaks, chops, chicken, and fish. Great Italian food, as well as lots of salad choices. Classic red leather booths and historic bar make this place a must... More

Just enjoyed a really good dinner here on a Tuesday night. Greeted by a genuine manager and served by a 40 year experienced professional server. Old school ambiance and charm. My kind of place. Daughter and I had great steaks , wife "one of the best" veal Bolognese she has ever had. Original white iced strawberry cake for dessert (very... More

A menu that's barely changed in decades. Open charcoal grill. If you sit st the counter you can watch your meal being cooked. The meat itself is as good as it gets: delicious steaks and especially the lamb chops. Don't bring your vegetarian friends. Traditional sides (potatoes au gratin, spinach & cheese, that sort of thing). Your grandfather would feel... More

Located in Hollywood bld, this restaurant has a nice old style environment and a good service. However the food is nothing special from an international standard (and pricey compared to US peers). The bisque was with too much cream and the house burger was too fatty - not as tasty as I expected.

Musso & Frank is arguably the oldest restaurant in Los Angeles. Founded in 1919, Musso & Frank has kept its original New York style bar and restaurant for almost a century. The food? Well, I am proud to say that Musso & Frank serves the best Welsh rarebit or Welsh rabbit, unsurpassed in my travels. Welsh rarebit, a lovely meal... More

You can imagine movie stars from the past at this place! Our waiter must have been there from day one, and despite the fact that he seemed irritated when we asked him about menu items, he added to the charm of this place. It's really known as a steakhouse, but we had salads for lunch, which were large and really... More

Family owned and operated forever - this fabulous piece of Hollywood history is a great place to go. The food and service is great - though I do recommend that if you go for dinner - order from the dinner menu - don't try to get something from the lunch menu. They'll give it to you but I don't recommend... More

Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
