I ate here twice during my recent stay in LA, firstly at the Loteria grill and then later on at the Fritzy Dog. Both were good options, the tacos at the loteria grill were just amazing and the fritzydog was surprisingly good. I had wanted to check out the brazillian bbq place but the queue was enormous and I wasn't... More

Ever been to the Naschmarkt in Vienna or the Viktualienmarkt in Munich? The Farmers Market in Los Angeles is the equivalent. Located on the popular west side of the city, surrounded by the Grove outdoor shopping mall and other nearby commercial areas, the Farmer's Market is open seven days per week from 8 or 9 am (depending upon the stall)... After many years I returned the market, I was a little surprised. I remember hearing, the only constant is change,so I went with the current. Some of the old timers, or their family are still there. My favorite shoe repair shop included. Lots of great places to eat, especially the bakeries, and, original ice cream shop! I even found a great... More

I love this place as a market to pick up little treats or veg's. You can eat here as they have stands set up. This is a great place because anyone you are with can get whatever they want. I was with a group of people. I had a salad, someone else had BBQ, another person Thai :) Lots of... More

When I was a little girl my grandmother always took me to the original farmers market and we would eat from the same kiosks that are still there. It has definitely changed over the years and what used to be pet stores and button stores is now the grove. But if u are interested in supporting small business and want... More

I visit this place a lot. Sometimes when I want a pastry for tonight's dinner or a quick bite for lunch. I like to bring out of town family here too. They have souvenir shops. Great merchandise at fair prices. Parking does get pretty crazy but I'm lucky that my dad lives across the street so we just walk here.... More

I love the vendors in the Farmers Market. Just a world of choices, smells and food! I would recommend going here off hours around lunchtime.

What type of food do you want to eat....you will find it here. The Farmer's Market is an LA institution and connected to The Grove, a high-end, outdoor shopping area that often has live music events taking place. This market has something for everyone and is typically filled with characters from every walk of life. Get's very busy during lunch... More
