A wide range of stalls with all different kinds of food and food-related items. I visited the farmers market with a group of 4 others and we all managed to get food from different stalls to try together. There is a lot of choice with different cuisines, as well as both sweet and savoury options. There are a lot of... More

This was definitely a packed place. There were many people and lots of shops. Many of the shops were food based - some ready to eat and others with food to take away and prepare yourself. There were also many shops with non-food items to buy. We tried some homemade ice cream, which was awesome! There were many buses that... More

Nice stop over on a trip around LA. Lots of choice for food and some traditional american dishes too. A lot of locals at this place which is a good sign. Lots of shops and souvenirs to get here.

This was a great little place with little cafe style places to eat. Children friendly and can recommend the Brazilian BBQ for food as in was very good. Bit of a line but it showed how popular it was was with the locals. It also had souvenirs and other shops around including fresh fruit and vegetables, meats etc. There also... More

It's a tourist destination (trap) that has a history that dates back --way back-- to when the food was actually good and mom and pop would cook or bake you something special. The tour bus will take you here and you are obligated to go because tons before you have gone so like any historical place you have to experience... More

For a good "old fashioned" quality breakfast (anytime of day) Dupar's restaurant at the Farmer's Market is a great value! Start with fresh squeezed orange juice (you can watch them squeeze it) followed by a well-prepared egg dish with hash brown potatoes (never frozen and grated while you wait). If your really hungry, try their pancakes (they are the best!)... More

I know they count this as a tourist spot, but if I lived closer I would probably come once a week. 30-40 different types of food and deli foods. Lots to see and do here and fun to walk through the Grove that is right next to it.

50+ years ago my brother (aged 7) and me (aged 10) used to spend hours at the Farmers Market every Saturday as my parents worked in a store across the street. Recently, my wife and I and some friends had the chance to revisit. What a wonderful lunchtime visit! Still lots of interesting shops and a tremendous variety of food... More

If You like variety, You'll love the Farmers Market. The vendors offer multiple items of interest. Plus there's a wonderful restaurant for dining while taking a break from shopping. Or You can enjoy the many food variations available within the Markets boundaries. You can eat Italian, French, Asian, or just choose a simple Burger and fries.
