We were here on an extremely hot day. No a/c here! But we made the most of it. Stalls of fresh fruit, produce, fish, meats, cheese, spices. Eateries excellent ice cream. Clothing vendors. An experience!

We had been told before our visit to the Farmers Market that the food choices were mind-boggling and that's the truth. We lucked into The Gumbo Pot, a fine traditional New Orleans style cajun cafe. The price was inexpensive, the food very good. We had Oyster Po Boys and split a dish of Jambalay. A lot of food for the... More

Finally some great cheap food in la. We went to the bar here for happy hour drinks and then a Brazilian buffet place that had amazing bbq chicken wrapped in bacon. Can't recommend this place enough.

We always go the the farmers market when we visit LA and this year was no exception. This time there were 13 of us and the food here is good clean homemade and cheap. So many different cuisines and other great shops as well. It happens to back onto the grove shopping mall but the real action is here in... More

Lots of great food. Sooooo many choices. Loved the spice shop and the gourmet market. Have a good walk around before choosing where to eat....you will be tempted to eat everywhere!!! Pick the food that matches your mood and I'm sure you'll find it. Very affordable and a good destination when visiting the area.

I have been going here since I was a child, when it was just the Farmers Market, without The Grove next to it. It has remained a wonderful place for locals as well as out-of-towners! There is something for everyone! So don't miss this spot and come hungry!

Foodies will be in their heaven here. I would come here to eat all the time if I lived around here. So many options, authentic, home-made food, and cheap! If you're visiting the Grove, save your money on those upscale restaurants and get some good food here!

I've lived by the Grove and Farmers Market for 5 years now and here are my top picks for places to go here, for certain occasions: Breakfast during the week- short cake for coffee and a straus creamery yogurt blueberry muffin Weekend brunch- savory crepe at the Creperie Girls night out- froyo at Pinkberry or split an Opera torte at... An icon in LA that gets better with age, this covered outdoor cafe and shopping area mixes foods from around the world. You need to be eagle eyed to get a seat (do this first), then choose you food. From awesome pastries to full course meals this place is for you. Not necessarily good for younger kids because of the... More

Outstanding food and value!!! You MUST try the sliced steak!! Be prepared to wait on the long line, but it is worth the wait.
