As a native Angelino, I have fond memories of coming here as a child with my grandparents. It is an iconic stop to include on your visit. Many of the cities best Local purveyors are featured . It has both the convenience and inconvenience of newer "The Grove " shopping mall on the same locale. Probably best to take a... More

Lots of places to grab food. None of them really looked that appealing to me. Finally settled on a hot dog stand promising 'artisanal dogs.' Hot dog was mediocre at best. Grabbed a frozen banana with almonds from an ice cream shop that was decent.

Like many already mentioned before the farmers market is a "must have seen" when in LA. The parking prices are exorbitant but thats it for the negative side. All other stands and shops invite for browsin' around and just enjoy the variety of different tastes and flavors. We had lunch at the french restaurant located on the farmers market. It... More

The Farmers Market wasn't what I was expecting but not in a bad way. I was expecting various vendors selling fresh fruits & veggies but It was more like an old world food court. There were food vendors throughout the space selling food from different countries & lots of specialty food shops. Plenty of tables & chairs throughout to sit... More

I love visiting this farmer's market for the food! There are mostly food vendors, as well as some merchandise and grocery vendors. It's right next to the Grove and there are little shops along Fairfax too.

Visiting LA we always visit Sushi a go go at Farmers Market neighboring The Grove . At reasonable cost you get reasonable quite nice sushi dishes. It is said to be the smallest shop at the FM and it probably is. You sit outside as at all other food serving establishments at FA. We always ask the staff to spicy... More

The Farmer's Market was a great place to eat while I was in Los Angeles. I would have eaten here every day. Lots of choices of cuisines and desserts.

There are so many restaurants and stalls in the Original Farmers Market. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong. Quite the scene and great for people watching. I do most of my grocery shopping here also. You can do an around the world eating fest without leaving the Market.

The market is filled with actual Anglenos as well as tourists. The food booths range from the just ok to the really excellent with offerings for all tastes and budgets. It's a fun afternoon at affordable prices. Alas, the parking is a challenge with the lot filling up to the point of near gridlock so go early in the day... More

A great place to spend the day shopping and dining. Since Farmer's Market and The Grove are next to each other, you can experience both. You can buy fresh produce and meats from the many vendors, sample a variety of interesting foods, purchase clothes/shoes etc. from the many stores and boutiques, dine outdoors and ride the trolley that travels down...
