I've lived by the Grove and Farmers Market for 5 years now and here are my top picks for places to go here, for certain occasions: Breakfast during the week- short cake for coffee and a straus creamery yogurt blueberry muffin Weekend brunch- savory crepe at the Creperie Girls night out- froyo at Pinkberry or split an Opera torte at... An icon in LA that gets better with age, this covered outdoor cafe and shopping area mixes foods from around the world. You need to be eagle eyed to get a seat (do this first), then choose you food. From awesome pastries to full course meals this place is for you. Not necessarily good for younger kids because of the... More

Outstanding food and value!!! You MUST try the sliced steak!! Be prepared to wait on the long line, but it is worth the wait.

Nice place to come for lunch when everyone wants something different! Multiple excellent little outdoor restaurants and produce stands. Plenty of seating and good food and drink. Best to park in the parking structure nearest to the outdoor mall.

My go-to place for nuts, jams, popcorn and dried fruit. A bit too far of a drive for fresh stuff and anyway I have sources for that farther north. There's always something new and I've never had a bad experience yet. Parking is a pain, of course, and traffic, so plan ahead and take your time.

Lots of restaurants, dessert stands, and shops in the farmers market. It is easy to want to eat from lots of places and get sorta lost in there for a first timer. I love to go here and eat lunch or stop in when at the Grove.

A wonderful place to visit for luch and to get some great fresh fruit. Much bigger than looks from the outside and a huge selection from braziallian, italian, french, sweets, fruit, amazing fresh lemonade ...... Lots of souvenir places and most places to sit are in the shade - very welcome in the scorching heat !

We like walking around here when we are visiting The Grove. Our kids like stopping and grabbing a bite here and a bite there. Some of the treats are a little overpriced, but we try to share a specialty caramel apple and a few plates of food and it ends up being a nice day. Bring cash, some of the... More
