During our stay in Del Ray, we decided to get to Abbott Kinney via Washington Boul. The walk to Abbot Kinney from the beach was longer than expected, so we had worked up quite the appetite, and if you come from Washington Boul., you notice that the shops and restaurants everyone speaks of on Abbot Kinney only start at Venice... The French Market is a gem located in the Marina del Rey/Abbot Kinney area of Los Angeles. There are a few table inside, however the outdoor deck is where most enjoy their meal. The food is excellent, with many authentic French items on their menu. It is a limited service style of food service, where you order your food at... More

Found this place just driving around and was like magic. Beautiful little market, with delicious food. We tried many thing from onion soup, through sweet crepes and everything was delicious. Love the accent of the French lady, and to top the experience there were some fun Italian people seating outside to give the place a magic feeling of being in... More

I've been to Paris 4 times in my life, but I don't claim to speak a word of French. I have that American habit of pointing. And when I went to the cafe I tried to understand the menu, to no avail. I finally pointed to the cashier at something that looked good. It said something like "Chicken stew with... More

We ate our first meal here after getting off the plane. We ate outside which was nice. There is also a small gourmet type store inside. Dogs were welcome.

We came across this cafe by chance after escaping from a traffic jam. Quiet wooden deck shaded by bamboo and umbrellas, a little oasis of calm. We had quiche and cappucinos for lunch. Great service, delicious food.

I so wanted to adore this place as the outside seating on the patio is very attractive. However, I found it to be meh. The almond croissant, which I so deservedly earned after yoga class, was very good. Flaky, flavorful and just right. The cappuccino however, was lukewarm and quite weak! The service was also very slow considering it wasn't... More

A wonderful surprise with an excellent plain croissant, soft like a cloud, with a fine taste of butter. The almond croissant was excellent and rich as well. Excellent cappuccino. The croissants' level was the same as you can find in France only, good job. And you can even hear French in that cafe.

Been coming here for years. Food is standard fare and best for breakfast. Service is usually good. The counter inside is a good spot if you go by yourself.
