Delicious meal, fantastic service. Made you feel like family. We were visiting from Chicago, here for dinner with my cousin who lives nearby. A lovely place, quiet enough for good conversation. Salmon was perfectly prepared, lots of attention to detail. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite locations for brunch but have had exceptional dinners here as well. Very quaint decor - even somewhat romantic at night. Have been eating here for years and the food and service has always been consistent. Many options - from healthy to super decadent things like bread pudding french toast and great Mexican influenced options. Food is... More

It was just ok. That's the long and short of it. The place was empty. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. I ordered Sin Zin(nice wine). The bread arrived and was boring bland white bread. My friend suggested the bread should be heated and/or a garlic spread. The server poured an olive oil/basalmic dip for the bread. We ordered the... More

W My daughter and I went for lunch . . . Just walking by and noticed and open table. We both ordered a pesto dish and a fettuccine Alfredo. The pesto was amazing. I added chicken to the Alfredo. The chick peas great. The Alfredo was nothing spectacular. Great atmosphere and good service. Would definitely come again!

I read other reviews that say this place has bad service... but I've been there 3 times and have always experienced good service. I love going to this place on the weekend, just so I can get fresh scones... yum! I've had a few of their breakfast dishes and have never been disappointed.

I've lived in Eagle Rock since 1973 and have been going to Camilo's since it opened. I travel a lot and I always review hotels and restaurants. Came home from a trip this Sunday and went straight to Camilo's and realized I need to write a well deserved review. I love the ambiance no matter what time of day I... More

Camilo’s California Bistro is hands down the best restaurant in Eagle Rock. I have been dining here since they opened (15 years ago?) and have never had a bad meal. Recently, I met a friend for lunch and we were seated by the owner. He’s very gracious and wants his customers to feel comfortable and at home. I ordered the... More

A great place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, and dinner. I enjoy the eggs benedict and my friends all order the bread pudding/french toast entree. Service is attentive, atmosphere is great, I can always depend on this place to deliver, so I know I can bring picky relatives and they will leave happy.

I eat here a few times a year when i am in town. The hot vegetation sandwich is wonderful and I can heartily recommend the tuna dill cold sandwich. All the salads are good. The desserts are killer and should be reserved for a special occasion. I have always had attentive service.
