27 years of Amir's!

I first discovered Amir's Falafel in October 1988 by chance after leaving a Jazz convention at the Universal City Sheraton. What luck! I went the countless times told many friends about it, used to see people I know by chance there sometimes, how much does that happen in LA? I knew Amir and if the... read more

This mall stop is really worthwhile, a great range of salads/vegetables/hummus/babaganoush to add to your falafel plate. My husband loves the kebab. WE like that they remember us.

A buddy of mine that lives in Studio City, CA suggested Amir's for lunch. There's not a lot of available seating, but my falafel sandwich was very good, reasonably priced, and very large. I hope to go back soon.

I've passed by this place so many times for so long and finally decided to try it out. First off the service is excellent. They really want to make their custoomers feel welcomed and satisfied, which is a point itself. The food, meh, could be better. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma sandwich. It felt like there was something missing in... More

Stopped by for lunch, ordered a Chicken Shawarma sandwich, it was delicious and the portion was generous. Would go back again.

I've been eating at this place for 35 years, and it all this time it continues to be the best of the best. The falafel balls are delicious, spicy and light, and this truly distinguishes this from many other places. The plates come with your choice of sides including Israeli salad, Curry carrots, Hummus, Eggplant salad, and more. All are... More

This is my go-to place for the most delicious falafel sandwich in LA. They always cook the falafel to order, no sitting under a heat lamp, so they're big and tender, not dry or greasy. The pita bread is soft and fresh, the cabbage is cool and crisp, the hummus yummy, and if you like spice, say yes to the... More

Everything here is "home made" , is fresh and very healty. They use olive oil and lemon juice as dressing for the salads. I recommend Amir's Special Plate - it comes with everything(meat, rice, falafel) and you can choose your salads (3-4 kinds). Enjoy!

I've been going to Amir since he was in the Sherman Oaks Galleria. He's my favorite falafel place!

Not sure I would call this the "best" falafel place, but certainly 4 stars for the type of place it is. It was my local falafel place for a while, and I still get the urge to pull over even now when I drive by. Mmmmm.
