Stopped by Sorrento's after a golf match nearby with my son (both hungry and a little tired) and had one of the best margherita pizzas I have had in quite a while. Flavors were distinct yet well melded, with dollops of pesto in addition to the basil and very flavorful tomatoes. A large was more than enough for the two... More

Sorrento's is famous in San Pedro for its dynamite pizza. I look at it longingly, but so far have avoided the temptation, preferring lower-fat food choices. I usually get a chicken or fish dish with a side of pasta. Their chicken marsala is a tiny bit sweet and truly the best I've ever had anywhere. Like all of their entrees,... More

Mom and Pop Italian restaurants rule in my book. Sorrento's is such a place. There were four of us and we shared an antipasto, Large Pizza, Spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and soft drinks. Our bill including tip was around $50 and we took half the food home. The restaurant has a take out side and a sit in side... More

After an taking in beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes via the scenic ocean view trails, our group worked up a nice appetite for lunch. A few miles along PV Drive South which then turns into W 25th Street, Sorrento's can easily be overlooked in the strip mall on Western. It's not fancy by any means, but once you enter, the atmosphere... More

Love the chicken Marsala--so huge and yummy we always split it--amazing pasta sauce and homemade lasagna --pizza is legendary. Staff is great and goes beyond trying to help you--wishing them continued success --that family deserves it!

I was writing a review on a restaurant I just went to and thought "if I could only eat out 1 more time in my life, where would it be?". Immediately Sorrento's came to mind. They have the absolute best pizza I've ever eaten. I'm 53 years old and have eaten pizza all over the U.S. and Sorrento's is #... More

Sorrento's pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. I've been eating here for over 15 years. My favorite is their plain cheese. I also love their stuffed shells. The eggplant parmesan and lasagna are also wonderful, as well as their sandwiches. I'm guessing you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My grandma lives in another town and... More

This mom and pop restaurant has the best meatball sandwiches. Their turkey sandwich is just as good. Pizza is excellent with slightly sweet sauce but a little too much cheese for my taste. I order light on the cheese when getting pizza. Service is very friendly and you don't feel out of place if you do live in town. I... More
