We went there twice in two night. We were seated right away even though it was busy. Service was excellent. Even though I am persian and can make some of the dishes better, this place is an excellent place to have a persian meal. Servings are very generous even when you split them. You should expect to take some home!

Visited on a Tuesday night with two business colleagues, arrived pretty late but were welcomed in to what was a busy restaurant for mid week. Food was of a very good quality, the size and quantity of each dish was crazy, yet the quality was maintained. Would definitely go back and recommend for both business groups and friends and family.

This place was packed on a Saturday night, but no one seemed to mind waiting a short while for a table—now I know why—this is food definitely worth waiting for! We asked for recommendations from our server so that we could try something new and we weren’t disappointed! We tried a number of the house specialties and found one better... More

A friend of ours took us here while we were visiting LA and it was amazing! Food is prepared fresh (you can watch them cooking It over hot coals) and is delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and full of energy. We would definitely return to this restaurant if we are in the area. Highly recommend.

We went to Shamshiri with friends. The menu was extensive and reasonable. My husband and I ordered lamb kabobs, which were moist and tender, but a little bland. We have eaten at other Persian restaurants where the lamb is marinated in a spicy sauce, which cooks in to the meat. We had no complaints about the service or the ambiance.... More

I've been going to Shamshiri for over 20 years now and even now with all the other persian restaurants next to it I've never lost faith in the service and quality of food here.

We visited with our 3 year old and 1 year old for dinner. When we asked for closed lid water cups for our kids, they said that we would need to order something other than water to get the closed lid cups. This was rather unorthodox for a restaurant to worry about $.05 plastic cups. When I asked the busboy,... More

Very busy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The kitchen is open and it's interesting to see the food being prepared. Service was good and we enjoyed our meal. We had shirazi salad, mast o khiar, lubia polo with chicken koobideh, sultani, and baklava/tea for desert. Everything was delicious and we would go there again. Generous portions and a good meal... Visiting from FL, and already eaten here twice for dinner. We ate chicken kabob @ $12.95 and lamb kabob @ $17.95 tonight, both reasonably priced for the amount of food received. Be prepared to take a doggie bag home, but not for your dog. Great tasting food, reasonable prices, excellent service .... perfect combination. Parking can be a challenge, but... More
