I loved eating here in the Farmer's Market and very much enjoyed my meal -- salade chevre, poulet roti, tarte tatin (if I recall correctly) -- which tasted much like these classics do in similar venues in the South of France. All that was missing was a the peche (from a can, naturellement) in my hand and I could have... More

What could be better than sitting in the sun enjoying delicious French food and watching strollers on Santa Monica's 3rd Street? Only a sidewalk cafe in Paris or Nice. From the bountiful cheese plates to luscious burgers, this restaurant was our lucky discovery. We'll be back!

Food was very good, although not an inside restaurant, it still had a nice appeal. Not to loud, Staff was friendly. Food arrived exactly as ordered and not huge portions as we typically get in the US so I did have room for chocolate moose.

Went to location in Santa Monica. Food was not tasty. Waitress was however awesome. We heard and saw one server arguing with the cook. It was an awkward and not so enjoyable experience

A French bistro menu. Food was very good. Baked goods are wonderful. Portions are good. Service is good. It is also a food market, so it is an interesting place.

Very decent food at reasonable prices. In nice weather, it's a lovely place to have a casual meal. The menu is interesting, the wine list good and the atmosphere always pleasant. A good local find.

This is a sit down cafe inside The Original Farmers Market. The service can be slow but the lunch choices are plentiful and very tasty. There is also a take out area inside Monsieur Marcel's market adjacent to the cafe. If you love cure olives this place has a wide assortment at competitive prices (sold by weight) as well as... More

I suspect French followers of this website might look at this establishment with some disdain, but it’s very close to authentic French cooking. If you need a break from the retail delights of 3rd Avenue and shopping mall, and are looking for something other than a burger, pizza or pasta nearby, then this is a great place to come. The... We were in Santa Monica and saw this very interesting restaurant on the 3rd Street Promenade. It ended up that our meal was so enjoyable that we can't wait until our next visit to Los Angeles so we can eat here again. We started with a selection of cheeses. Our favorite was Saint Agur. We had chosen three others to... More

I was looking for the perfect French quiche for quite a long time and my search ended here. Wow! That was one heck of a Spinach and Cheese quiche and awesome French wine. The authentic French taste really delighted me and the service was very good too. The best part of this cafe/ restaurant is that they have this really... More
