Nice place to eat after a day at Universal

Great ranch style design of the restaurant with many cowboy themes. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the place. Its located next to universal studios entrance and exit.

Its a place to stop and rest your feet... And have a drink, no food is recommended here. ..... Kids had a kids menu and hubby had water and a bbq plate that was very salty and dry.

We had to make a 6:00 reservation, because no other times were available. We arrived at 6, to find a totally empty restaurant. Go figure! We ordered a round of cocktails, only to find out they didn't know how to make a dry Grey Goose martini. We then switched to wine. The meals were so disappointing, we thought there were... More

We ate at many many locations on our roadtrip on the western coast of USA, and this was easily the best food we ate. The steak was superb, the drinks were good (I drank beer) and the service was impeccable! We had a fantastic time and I would happily reccomend this restaurant to anyone!

In Universal City "food" mostly means "junk food", but Saddle Ranch is an alternative, but not a very good one, though. Ordered a New York Strip Steak, and it tasted ok, but not top quality and I ordered with sauce Bernaisse, which did not come even when I had asked for it several times, and finally (by then I had... I've eaten at this location many times over the years and I've had consistently good service and food. This review is for my most recent visit, with friends from out of the country this last Friday night. We arrived at 8pm for dinner and had no problems getting seated. However, once we were inside, we could not easily leave the... More

Went there on a Sunday for Brunch and Bottemless Mimosas. It took at least 25 minutes to get our first drinks. When the food came out it came out a few dishes at a time, as each one of us received our food we had to ask for forks. We asked for forks about 5 or 6 times! Really? You... More

Our family ate at Saddle Ranch Universal and had the best time! The kids rode the mechanical bull. We were serenaded a Bon Jovi song by request. We received a compliementary dessert of s'mores which we roasted on the fire pit. The adult drinks were delicious and generous in portions. The food was excellent. This was definately the best value... More

The restaurant is the first one you pass as you arrive at Universal studios Hollywood . Its really designed as an outside eating place with a cowboy theme , ride on bulls lots of wood etc. The challenge in winter is keeping the place warm , they have heaters in the ceiling and they close in the many open doors...
